The Cadet Fire and Rescue Corps of the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia (hereinafter referred to as the Cadet Corps) was established on July 1, 2013 by order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia dated March 7, 2013 No. Russian Federation for civil defence, emergencies and elimination of consequences of natural disasters of the Center for the training of cadets.
The purpose of the creation of the Cadet Corps is to create a basis for preparing underage citizens to serve the Fatherland in the field public service, the formation of a culture of life safety in them, as well as their preparation for admission to specialized educational institutions of higher vocational education Russian Emergency Situations Ministry.
In 2013, on a competitive basis, the first entrance tests in the 10th grade in the following profiles: physical and mathematical, socio-economic, defense and sports. 77 cadets from 26 regions of the Russian Federation were enrolled.
