Compulsory exams and electives
The list of disciplines that must be passed at all costs traditionally includes the Russian language and mathematics. Although from 2017, they are going to add one more mandatory subject to these subjects. True, it is not yet known what kind of object it is. There are several contenders for this role: a foreign language, social studies, physics and history.
Today it is known that you need to take only four exams: two mandatory and two optional. The graduate must determine the subjects of his choice, depending on what specialty he plans to enter at the university.

Changes and innovations in the USE-2017
As mentioned above, it is planned to add one more to the two compulsory subjects for passing the exam, but which one is unknown.
A rather important change that affected the content of the examination tests is the cancellation of the test part for several subjects at once. Thus, tests have been canceled not only in the Russian language and mathematics, but also in “oral” subjects. The test part of the exam remained only in the Unified State Examination in a foreign language.
An innovation that speaks of the improvement of the USE and its attempt to keep up with the times is the passing of the USE in computer science and ICT on a computer.
For exams in foreign languages since 2017, an oral part has been introduced - "Speaking". Now foreign languages will need to be taken 15 minutes longer - this is how long the oral part lasts. In addition to foreign languages, there is also an idea to introduce an oral part into the Unified State Examination in history, literature and social science, but so far this is only a project. And in the test mode, the oral part of the Russian language exam will be tested. Thus, in some regions of Russia, the Russian language exam will include the oral part already in 2017.
Thus, there are no cardinal and unexpected changes in the USE in 2017. And those innovations that have been implemented are obviously aimed at improving the system of examination tests. Required subjects in 2017

All other subjects are optional, and for this reason, they are taken by graduates on a voluntary basis, based on their choice for entering universities of a certain direction.
USE-2017: changes, latest news
The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation is talking about the abolition of the test mode for passing the exam. This idea arose due to the fact that some students who did not know how to solve a particular problem could simply choose an answer and guess it randomly. According to the latest data, since 2017, Rosobrnadzor plans to abandon tests, in almost all subjects of the Unified State Exam-2017, including: in biology, physics and chemistry.
Rosobrnadzor will begin to approve the methodology by which the minimum score in 2017 will be calculated for the unified state exam.
Introduction oral form change. In order to pass the Russian language or history, students will need to pass an oral exam in order for their level of preparation to be assessed to the fullest.
So what is to be submitted? Compulsory subjects: mathematics (basic), Russian language. Elective subjects: mathematics (profile), physics, chemistry, biology, geography, literature, foreign language, history, social studies, informatics and ICT.

At the early stage, graduates of evening schools, young people called up for military service, athletes of national teams, as well as high school students who cannot pass exams at the main stage due to health reasons or due to moving to another country.
The most popular subject of choice among schoolchildren - social science - will be held on a specially allocated day. This exam will not overlap with other exams, so that all interested graduates can take it on the main day.
Retake
Graduates who "flunked" the exams in compulsory subjects can retake them in the fall.
September 5 pass the exam in Russian, and on September 8 - in basic mathematics, which have the right to pass:
*graduated from school this year, but failed both compulsory exams (Russian language and mathematics) during the summer exams;
*graduated from school this year, but received a deuce for one of the required exams (Russian language or mathematics) and failed to retake the subject on the reserve day;
*graduated from school this year, but for some reason did not take exams at all in the summer.
Graduates who have not overcome the minimum threshold for elective subjects have the right to retake the exam only for the next year.

USE in biology
Starting from this year, there will be fewer assignments in the Unified State Examination in Biology, their number has been reduced from 40 to 28. At the same time, schoolchildren will have more time to write papers, the duration of the exam will increase from 180 to 210 minutes. Items with a choice of one answer were excluded from the options. Part 1 includes new types of tasks, which differ significantly in types of activities. Graduates will have to fill in the missing elements of a diagram or table, find the correct symbols in the figure, perform tasks for the analysis and synthesis of information, including those presented in the form of graphs, charts and tables with statistical data. Another change is to reduce the maximum primary score from 61 in 2016 to 59 in 2017.
USE in chemistry
In the variants in chemistry, the structure of part 1 has been fundamentally changed: firstly, tasks with a choice of one answer are excluded, and secondly, the questions are grouped into separate thematic blocks, each of which contains tasks of both basic and elevated levels difficulties. In general, there will be fewer tasks in the work - schoolchildren will have to complete 34 tasks (instead of 40 in 2016). The maximum primary result for the exam will be 60 points, last year it was 64 points. And one more innovation in chemistry: in the tasks of the basic level of complexity, which test the assimilation of knowledge about genetic connection inorganic and organic matter(No. 9 and No. 17), the grading scale has been changed. Now for the correct answers it will be possible to get not one, but two points.
USE in physics
In physics, the structure of part 1 of the examination paper has been changed, part 2 has been left unchanged. From the first part, tasks with a choice of one correct answer were excluded and tasks with a short answer were added.

Since the number Russian schoolchildren students of Chinese in grades 8-11 already exceeds 5 thousand people, it is quite possible that in the next two or three years the USE in this subject will become another elective exam along with English, French, German and Spanish. MGIMO specialists are also working on the creation of examination materials for Chinese. In October 2015, the first testing of the USE in Chinese was carried out. Oral part in the exam in Russian
The Ministry of Education and Science plans to introduce the oral part of the Unified State Examination in the Russian language in the coming years. It is expected that it will be tested on exams in grade 9 already this academic year, and will appear in the exam in two years. In 2016, the Federal Institute for Pedagogical Measurements developed an updated USE model for literature. Not the first year there has been talk that in the near future schoolchildren will take computer science on a computer. Experts assess this prospect as real, but not close. Currently, the solution of the issue is hindered by the poor technical equipment of schools in remote regions of the country and SanPiNs, which prohibit schoolchildren from spending four hours at a computer in a row. How many compulsory subjects do you need to pass to get a certificate?
Previously, students took only two subjects, but in 2017, the exams will undergo a number of changes. Simply put, another mandatory subject is added to obtain a certificate. The first two are mathematics and the Russian language, and what will be the next one until the question is resolved. There is an assumption that it may turn out to be a foreign language, but education experts offer other, no less important "candidates".

In addition to the main three subjects, students take one more subject on a voluntary basis of their own choice. It mainly depends on admission to the planned specialty in educational organizations higher education. USE results
No changes are expected in the results of the 2017 exams. True, we should not forget that the terms for checking the results of the exam with their subsequent placement on the network may be shortened. When conducting the GIA in the USE format, the usual 100-point system will be used. For each of the announced subjects, the minimum number of points required to successfully pass the exam is set.
When the test is completed, the examination papers are reviewed by the chairman of the SEC for each of the subjects.
