Show dvfu city hostels. Far Eastern Federal University. Sports facilities on the FEFU campus

Far Eastern federal university(FEFU) was created on the basis of four united universities of Primorye: Far Eastern State University,Far Eastern State Technical University, Pacific State University of Economics and Ussuri State Pedagogical Institute. The order to merge these four largest universities into one was signed on January 27, 2011, and the complete reorganization into a new university was completed by June 1, 2011.
FEFU has many differences from standard university programs.

Thanks to Nastya, Alice, Ksyusha for a walk around the campus.

" Instead of the existing three-level structure "institute - faculty - department", a two-level system "school - department" was created at FEFU. The main innovation of the new structure of the university is that the management of educational and scientific activities is mainly transferred to the school level. The basis of the organizational structure of the university is schools - large divisions, independent in the implementation of not only educational, but also scientific and international activities. The second major innovation is the construction educational process on the principle of educational program management. Each educational program there is a leader who orders a particular course from the department."From the wikipedia website.

You can see more details about the university itself and. After theSeptember 8-9, 2012ATES summit on Russky Island, all buildings were transferred to the university, however,he moved to a new campus in July-August 2013, due to the reasons for not commissioning the campus by the contractor, he did not move in 2012, as planned in advance. In February 2013, 90% of the buildings of the FEFU campus on about. Russian (all buildings were commissioned, except for the laboratory building and the medical center).According to Wikipedia:

3. The central foyer of building A. It was in it that all the main events of the ATEC summit took place.

4. In terms of design, I really liked this building, both externally and internally! Looks very cool!

5.

6. On the other hand

7. As Alice explained to us, this is not only in FEFU. But this is the first time I've seen such a thing. In general, in terms of usability and external design with FEFU signs the best university which I have seen. I recently visited my MIREA and realized how lousy everything is here ..

8. Debate Club. In it, students practice before the debate. Surprisingly, I learned about debates as a form of spending time outside of the institute only from Xenia and Alice. It turns out that in Moscow there is also such a thing, but not with us ..

9. Awards

10. Some kind of administrative building. To be honest, until the last moment, the feeling that I was not at a university, but at some business center or hotel, did not leave me.

11. View from the window. On the left is the student dormitory. Hostel, to be honest, the language does not dare to call it ..

12. The Russian bridge is extraordinarily beautiful!

13. There is a lot of greenery on campus! There is a pond, a waterfall and some kind of stream even. Everything looks very cool!

14.

Having met on the way with Alice her acquaintances from the faculty of the faculty, they agreed to show us the student television studio. Ofigel, frankly, from the equipment that the university has.

15. Console and basic things in the studio.

16. Cameras. They cost about half a million and are given to students who have done well with simpler and more uncomplicated shooting scenes.

17. The blue background, as we were explained, is an analogue of the so-called. "green room"

18. Local creativity.

19. Reading room of the library. I saw a similar hall in the house of culture in Stockholm. I really liked it there.

20. No, this is not an art installation. It's just sorting through the library, but it looks really cool!

21.

22. View from the main building. On the left is the medical complex.

23. Once again the central foyer. The photo was taken from the steps. The building is very coolly done: entering it, you either get to the second or third floor. Go down the stairs or take the elevator. Everything is so beautiful and shiny. I really liked it. A friend who looked at the photos said that she looked like a university where her friend in Switzerland was studying.

24. Installation dedicated to the seven hills of Vladivostok.

25. The installation is made in the appropriate scale. Looks interesting.

26. An interesting poster that says that Vladivostok is a unique city that has communication with everyone major cities Asia. And by the way, FEFU is the only university in Russia that has a branch in Japan.

27. The building is simply dotted with broken lines and non-standard solutions. It has two entrances and exits, so once you get into the main building, you can easily exit from the other side and end up on the campus itself.

A few words about the building itself. I liked it, as I wrote above. Made stylish and modern. However, apart from the admission committee, a canteen, some administrative premises and a library, there is little in it. Most of the students study in their "schools" - separate buildings. The only exception is techies and some other specialties, but they will soon be transferred from the old premises, located on the mainland, to the new ones, on the island.

28. Campus from above.

29. Central building. Back view. In front of him is a monument - a dragon. As Alice told us, it is new symbol university. Only here is the question why he is - it is not clear. Yes, and it costs, as she told us, more than one hundred thousand rubles ...

30. Central alley. In general, the campus is very beautiful. At some moments it seemed to me that we were not on the territory educational institution, but somewhere on the sunny coast of Turkey, in some hotel. It's so clean and tidy. There is a special company that monitors the cleanliness on campus. Changes students' underwear in the hostel, and the hostel itself is designed for two residents and looks more like a hotel room.

Do not forget that it was not without a fly in the ointment: for example, the famous yellow water from the tap flows there. You can’t drink it, it can’t be filtered and boiled, and you can drink only imported bottled. On the campus there are things like a post office, a store. It was amazing to see the mail on the campus of the university.

31.

32. This is how a typical FEFU student hostel looks like.

33. On campus, the speed should not exceed either 40 or 20 km / h, I don’t remember. For violation of the ban - they take away a pass that gives the right to travel through the territory of the university.

34. Everything looks really impressive!

35. Local football stadium. As a fan of this sport, I can say with confidence that the coverage on it is very good. I don't know if it's possible to play it in winter or not. The field has its own stands with all amenities - these are locker rooms and toilets. I think there is even a shower.

36. A little further than the football field there are multi-surface tennis courts, a volleyball court and something else.

37. Between the stands.

38. View from the campus waterfront. Now it is open to everyone from June 1st. Prior to this, a special pass was required to enter the territory of the university.

39. Russian bridge in all its glory.

40. Finally.

The territory of the university is really huge. In a good way, you can walk there all day. There is a rental of bicycles, roller skates, something else for active rest.

On this, perhaps, I will finish.

In total, 11 dormitories were built on the campus. Each dormitory is a separate building and is not connected by closed passages with other campus buildings. They are designed to accommodate 11,000 students and teachers.

Each hostel has several freight and passenger elevators. The first floors of the dormitories are non-residential, and are designed to accommodate various campus infrastructure facilities. On these floors, there are areas for: shops, beauty salons, fitness rooms, a business center, kiosks, cafes, dry cleaning, shoe repair, etc.

Thus, on the territory of the FEFU campus, all vital and important facilities that ensure comfortable living for a person will be within walking distance.

Dormitory complex "Severny"

The complex of dormitories "Severny" consists of 2 groups of dormitories - type I (buildings No. 1-No. 5) and type II (buildings No. 6-No. 8). A little lower, towards the sea, in front of this complex is a group of outdoor sports facilities.

Dormitories No. 1-5 are designed to accommodate the teaching staff, university staff and members of their families. The capacity of all hostels of this type is a little more than 2000 people, i.е. more than 400 people in each building. These rooms will be used to accommodate visiting professors.

Total (for five buildings typeI): 1210 rooms, 2339 beds

Building No. 4 - President of Russia (3rd floor, left wing)

Corps number 5 - the President of Japan. here you can rent bicycles.

Dormitories of II type are buildings consisting of two parts, united by a common entrance. Between these hostels there are sports and recreation complexes (7.1, 7.2). The number of floors in hostels is variable, from 4 to 8 floors.

Dormitories of this type are designed for students to live in them. The total capacity of type II dormitories is slightly less than 6,000 people, i.e. about 1,800 people can be accommodated in each building. Both Russian and foreign students will live in these dormitories.

Total in the building: 904 rooms, 1866 beds

Total (for three housings typeII): 2709 rooms, 5541 seats

Complex of hostels "Yuzhny"

The complex of hostels "Yuzhny" consists of three hostels of the 3rd type (buildings No. 9-No. 11) and is located in the southern part of the campus. Students will live in these hostels

consist of two wings connected by a transition. The "wings" of the buildings are located at different heights and have different number of storeys. The number of storeys in the dormitories of this group is from 3 to 8 floors.

Total (for three housings typeIII): 1509 rooms, 3189 beds

SPORTS FACILITIES OF THE FEFU CAMPUS

serious attention is paid to the development of sports at the university. In this regard, a large number of open and closed sports halls and playgrounds will be organized on campus. The sports facilities of the FEFU campus will be used not only for the needs of the educational process, providing sports activities for students, staff and teachers of FEFU, but also for holding international, interuniversity sports events.

All sports facilities on the FEFU campus will include:

Sports block connected to the educational premises of the building № 20 and is part of the Humanitarian Corps, but at the same time it has a separate entrance. The structure of its premises includes several sports halls, two swimming pools of various sizes, specialized halls and rooms for student medical care. Total area of the sports block: 17,738 m2

Useful area: 13 148 m2

First, bridges, where would we be without them:
1. For those who are not from Vladivostok, this is a bridge across the Golden Horn Bay, which connects the city center and Pervomaisky District (Churkin).

2

3. Bridge on about. Russian.

4. The campus itself. Left and right are hostels that correspond to three-star hotels...

5. The red annex between the two dorms is the gym.

6. Entrance to educational buildings from the side of the track.

7. View of the dormitories and the football field from the building closest to the track.

8. The medical corps will also be handed over soon.

9. In general, the concept is good to make a modern hospital almost on the territory of the university. A large ice field is Novik Bay.

10. Parking. There would be 5 such things in the city center instead of shopping centers ...

11. Dormitories and the road that runs through the campus.

12. Most of the educational buildings are interconnected by passages.

13. This is what a smoking area looks like.

14. Roofs of educational buildings. The yellow pipe is gas.

15. Gas heats the air that is sucked into the ventilation system in winter.

16. Three distant buildings on the left are also hostels.

17. A block with a pipe protected by a cone is a ventilation (air conditioning) system.

18. In winter, the air is heated by gas before it enters the premises through ventilation ducts; in summer, it is cooled by an air conditioner built into this large box.

19. Sometimes there are inconsistencies: the wall rests against the glass of the window...

20. Almost all residents of Vladivostok saw the campus outside. It is more interesting to see what awaits students inside the educational buildings.
A typical small audience looks like this:

21. A slightly larger audience looks like this:

22. This is what most audiences look like.

23. There are large lecture halls.

24. With rows of reclining seats.

25. There are two large (concert? assembly?) halls.

26. Several hundred seats.

27. A portable table for records is removed into the right armrest of each such chair.

28. There are halls for holding round tables.

29. It seems to be exactly how they held meetings at the summit in September 2012.

30. Periodically, some conferences are held.

31. This is also an audience, only the furniture has not yet been placed. But artifacts of the summit have been preserved.

32. Large rooms without windows are still used for storing chairs.

33. The height of the ceilings is about 8 meters.

34. Sometimes you come across such small auditoriums with floor-to-ceiling glazing.

35. Or this is the view from the window...

36. A room similar to a reading room.

37. Offices of the university management.

38. Perhaps some vice-rector or dean of the faculty of the school principal will sit here.

39. In general, there are many rooms on campus. There is a problem with key management...

40. In addition to the auditoriums themselves, the corridors are also of interest.

41. Quite a modern administrative and domestic device.

42. Audiences left and right.

43. Blinds and bright colors make these corridors a bit more interesting.

44. Either a laboratory, or an archive, or a switchboard, or some kind of communication center. The room is equipped with gas fire extinguishing.

45. At the entrances in almost all corridors there are clocks connected to a single clock system. The time is shown accurately.

46. On each floor (in each corridor) there is a bathroom.

47. The bathroom is a partition, where there are men's and women's toilets, a toilet for the disabled and a shower.

48. The toilet for the disabled looks something like the photo below. It has enough space for a person in a wheelchair to drive in, and handrails are needed so that a person can use the bathroom on their own.

49. In general, all modern administrative buildings should be convenient for people with handicapped. Campus on about. Russian meets these requirements. Almost everywhere where there are no ramps, there are elevators.

50. Elevator shaft.

51. In some places, such transitions between floors are made.

52. Those with good legs can use ladders.

53. Tallest building 11 floors (including basements).

54. Somewhere artifacts of the summit come across.

55. This is how the transition between buildings looks from the inside.

56. Lobby.

57. There are stairs for walkers and elevators for those who can't walk.

58. On the left, a glazed façade 11 stories high.

59. Some corridors are decorated with paintings.

60. Spacious enough, but somehow empty ....

61. Downstairs it is planned to create a reading room, and upstairs there will be a dining room.

62. You sit, read a book, and the smells of food descend from above ... There is no time for work anymore and you need to relax and have a bite to eat.

63 For a bite to eat: there is a canteen in each building.

64. Kitchens are all equipped.

65. Large refrigerators. By the way, domestic assembly ...

66. After eating, it would be nice to lie on the couch ...

67. I was pleasantly surprised in terms of various recreation areas.

68. There are either a couple of chairs or a couple of sofas in the nooks and crannies.

69. Good concept.

70. Let's see how adequately students will use such places of rest.

71. Perhaps couples will skip more often :)

72. There are many different recreation areas inside.

73. In addition to the premises, you can relax in the fresh air.

74. Paths, benches, greenery (will be in the summer).

75. Again, the campus is located on the shores of Ajax Bay.

76. In mid-March, it is not very warm near the sea, but from May to October it is quite possible to sunbathe on a sunny day on the sand.

77. The rest of the time just walk.

78. The pier is visible on the left.

79. In general, it turns out such a fairly large park with paths, benches, an embankment, ponds and even an artificial waterfall (in theory, it will work in the warm season).

80. If you are bored just walking, sitting or sunbathing, then you can play tennis, football, volleyball or basketball on campus.

81. In addition, there are gyms.

82. Halls for aerobics (dance)...

83. On an area of 4000 square meters. m. you can play anything.

84. Another room.

85. Again, there are comfortable locker rooms.

86. Decent shower cabins (the same ones are on each floor in educational buildings).

87. There is a swimming pool.

88. Corridor leading to the pool.

89. Even the sports complex has an elevator and an escalator.

90. Without going into details, the campus is a complex of modern buildings in which fairly good repairs have been made and good engineering equipment has been carried out (in the volumes that could actually be done in 3 years of construction).

91. There are quite interesting features such as a touch panel of 9 large LCD monitors. Sensory is achieved by a special sensor, which is located under the ceiling (in the photo it is hidden in a slot above the panel) and monitors the position of the hand.

92. Sberbank made such a chip.

93. Sberbank collected in one place all the chips that could be sold at a bank branch. Robot, large LCD touch panels and a bunch of different ATMs.

94. It is a very good idea to make false ceiling ceiling panels in the form of elements of the periodic table. You can develop the theme and make your own thematic ceiling for each faculty of the school.

95. The basis of the building is a frame of steel I-beams recessed into the concrete of the foundation. Ceilings are reinforced concrete, poured over corrugated board and reinforced with 10 mm reinforcement. What is the bearing capacity is unknown to me, but in theory it should be at least 1000 kg per square meter. m.

96. In many places, the metal frame is reinforced with stiffening membranes.

97. And finally, a few panoramas on a mobile phone. Embankment of Ajax Bay overlooking the cable-stayed bridge.

The laboratory building still remains to be completed. Move the equipment and start studying.
The campus is suitable for comfortable accommodation of 10-12 thousand students.
There is a fire station and a police station in the nearby bay.

The main thing is that now the quality of education matches the money invested in the campus...

P.S. I will express my point of view about the position of many FEFU employees regarding the move, as well as about the administrative and managerial internal features of the university, I will express some other time ...
