Secrets of healing self-hypnosis. Several cases of cure Self-hypnosis for recovery

Self-hypnosis for recovery is a method used by people since ancient times. But not everyone believes that such methods work. But in vain! With the correct execution of the techniques, the psychological impact sometimes works wonders.

What is self-hypnosis?

Self-hypnosis is understood as a process of assurance addressed to oneself, allowing one to evoke certain feelings and sensations that control the processes of memory and attention.

In reality, thoughts and actions must work together according to a certain pattern:

  • Do not use words and particles of denial"I can't, no, I can't."
  • Choose your phrases carefully. If the meanings of any words are not entirely clear to a person and do not cause positive associations, self-hypnosis will not work.
  • Maximum relaxation. Self-hypnosis will not give results if a person uses it in public places (on the way to work). It is best to start the process in a quiet home environment without strangers, animals and sounds.
  • Visualization.
  • Daily activities(at least 2 times a day) for 15-20 minutes. According to the observations of psychologists, such training will give results in 1.5-2 months. But you can't skip class.

The phrase for self-hypnosis should be pronounced without the slightest tension, but at the same time consciously with a representation in the smallest detail of everything that a person programs himself for. At the same time, the body should feel lightness, joy and confidence that this has already happened.

Self-help for recovery

The autosuggestion process works well against diseases, especially when combined with medical treatment. Patients convince themselves that the disease will recede forever. Observations of doctors show that sometimes confidence reaches such strength that even seriously ill patients begin to recover. In medicine, such cases are considered a miracle.

Self-hypnosis used for recovery has been known since the time of Aristotle and Hippocrates. Scientists philosophers have proved that a person's health often depends on his thoughts and words. At the same time, the most impressionable and emotional personalities with a good imagination achieve quick results. In addition, children lend themselves well to the imposition of thoughts, since the great susceptibility of babies very quickly helps to rearrange thoughts when the situation changes.

Psychologists believe that it is very easy to work with such personalities. For example, if a patient convinces himself that he is full, the composition of some components in the blood changes, and a person who imagines himself in the cold becomes covered with goose bumps with a low body temperature. Daily self-hypnosis training allows you to subjugate all organs and systems in the body.

Placebo effect

Works well based on self-hypnosis principle placebo when, instead of a drug, doctors give the patient a “dummy” (sugar pill, salt solution, etc.). After such experiments, more than half of the patients really got better, but as a rule, these were people who really wanted to get better. A placebo is not only a medical preparation, but also all kinds of conversations, manipulations and procedures.

From a scientific point of view, the process is explained as follows: after suggestion, the human brain begins to produce those substances that are appropriate for the drug or procedure being taken.

You can learn on your own, but if it is difficult for a person to restructure his thoughts, then qualified psychologists and psychotherapists will help to cope with this task in a few sessions.

Self-hypnosis for recovery does not cure all diseases, but in most cases it still brings positive results. The main thing is to master the technique, be patient and believe that everything will work out.

With the help of thoughts, images, ideas, imagination and visualization, any attitude, positive or negative, that can work in reality, like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

For example, an involuntary, subconscious self-hypnosis of a disease can occur, or vice versa, if you use special techniques - auto-suggestion for recovery, for success, or for self-confidence ... the fulfillment of a goal, desires, or even dreams ...

Today you will learn how to use the technique of autosuggestion to heal, achieve success, fulfill dreams, etc., as well as remove or take control of the unconscious negative suggestion of illness, failure, life failure ...

The power of autosuggestion

The power of self-hypnosis is very great - do not underestimate it. At the same time, there is no need to overestimate this power - there is no magic. The conscious use of the technique of suggestion to oneself must be taken seriously and rationally, periodically practicing the exercise given at the end of the article.

Self-hypnosis can be irrational, unconscious, based on attitudes, beliefs and beliefs, incorporated in the process of education and primary socialization. And if these are negative attitudes, then you, without realizing it, can inspire yourself with illnesses, failures, emotional, psychological, personal and life problems, including problems in relationships.

If you take control of internal mental processes and consciously use the technique of self-hypnosis, then you will achieve a lot in life: health and longevity, quality of life, success and prosperity, love and happiness.
Use the power of self-hypnosis - practice constantly, bringing the use of technology to automatism.

Self-hypnosis of the disease

Remember, your uncontrolled, automatic thoughts, images, pictures, imaginations coming from the subconscious can involuntarily organize self-hypnosis of illness and life failures. To prevent this from happening, or, if it is already happening, it is necessary, giving yourself new, positive attitudes during self-hypnosis, to remove the old, negative ones.

Self-help for recovery

If you already have any disease - physical or psychological - then you can use controlled auto-suggestion for recovery.
However, it should be noted that self-hypnosis is used as an aid to recovery, along with the main methods of treating the disease (although it happens that the auto-suggestion technique helps to recover without additional medical manipulations).

And if the term "recovery" is used as a social, personal, emotional and psychological concept, then self-hypnosis will easily help you both in personal growth, and in establishing interpersonal relationships, and in other achievements of success in life.

Self-hypnosis is a healing technique

This self-hypnosis technique recommends using imaginative thinking, sensations, associative vision, imaginary situations, visualization. The ability to freely operate with your imagination is a powerful force of self-hypnosis.

Before using the self-hypnosis technique, you need to relax.
Sit comfortably in a chair, put your hands on the armrests, feet on the floor or on a small stand, do not cross your legs. If you wear glasses, take them off and loosen the clothing that constricts your body. Get comfortable and relax as much as possible. Close your eyes.

So, the technique of self-hypnosis for recovery, for success, for self-confidence

(the text of the self-hypnosis technique (below) can be recorded on a voice recorder, or memorized and pronounced to yourself)

To calm down and relax even more, I will take deep breaths in and out, maybe three or four full, deep breaths in and out. As I do so, I will keep a close eye on the various sensations that I will feel as I exhale.

Each inhalation brings in fresh air, and each exhalation removes the used air. It is as if the bellows are working… and inside… there is a flow of healthy air. Let me be calmer with every breath, because I want it ... And I feel like with every exhalation I calm down more and more.

With each breath I release stress... release anxiety... release trouble. So I see a boiling kettle, I see steam coming out of it in a jet and relieving pressure in the kettle. I'll try to exhale with a whistle... like a boiling kettle... relieving... unnecessary... excessive pressure and tension.

I feel the muscles in my whole body relax. First, a feeling of relaxation covers the muscles of the head ... face ... Now the shoulders ... Descends along the arms ... passes to the chest ... It has already covered the entire back to the waist. With each exhale, I exhale more tension... exhale my anxieties... to the very end.

I maintain natural breathing, calm and deep... measured... At the same time, I mentally draw a staircase, any one I like. Perhaps this is a spiral staircase ... or maybe the one that I saw (s) in a friend's house ...

Or, say, a ladder from a movie or television program. The form and shape do not matter.
Now I mentally imagine it. I can clearly see the railings, carpet, and other details. It may turn out to be a staircase from my childhood or even just now invented by me.

Every staircase has steps. Let them be at least ten. I see myself at the first top step. Here I stand and even feel the smells and sounds around me. Outside, birds and other sounds reach me, people are living their normal lives ... at the same time that I have carved out this period of time for myself ... it's so natural.

And if I hear the sound of a car speeding by or a plane flying overhead... I know I can imagine myself packing all my stress... all my stress into a suitcase. And when a car passes by or a plane flies by... I imagine myself throwing my luggage into a car, truck, train or plane. And when I hear the sound of a vehicle moving away… I know it has taken my tension and my stress with it.

Therefore, in a moment, not yet now, but in a moment, I will begin to descend the imaginary staircase. I will count every step. I probably already know... or maybe even have a presentiment... that as I count, I will relax more and more... with every step I will feel better.

For each number, I count one step. The more steps, the lower I go down. There may be even more of them than I thought. The lower I go down, the more completely I will relax and the more pleasant I will be.

Do I feel that my feet are buried in the lush pile of the carpet, do I lean on the railing with my hand ... so that the descent is safe ... I always remember that I am more and more relaxed ... with every step I will feel better.
We need to get ready to start counting. Right now, I see very clearly in front of me and feel the stairs, I feel the step under my feet ... I'm getting ready.

Now I'm ready to start... with every step I'm getting more relaxed, I'm getting better.
10… the first step down the stairs. I am pleasantly surprised to find that my tension has become even weaker. At the beginning of any path... and most importantly... you should relax.

9... the second step, I walk as if on a walk on a wonderful, clear day. The farther I go, the more behind the steps, the fuller the feeling of comfortable peace, the further I am from worries and worries.

8 ... in this state, the tension weakens, and instead of it, a feeling of warmth or coolness may appear. A variety of images can help me: rivers ... fields ... mountains. You can compare my staircase with one of these images.

7… I can see different colors. It could be the color of the stairs or the color of the walls... the color of the sky or the painting on the wall. Colors can be different, from shades of gray to dark blue... it doesn't matter what shade of blue it is, I just know that certain colors evoke different looks... different feelings. Gray evokes the sensation of a cool breeze blowing over the body. Bright blue is associated with the warmth of the sun's rays falling on me.

6… I have already completed half of the descent. I see other colors. I can see shades of green like grass on a lawn. I can imagine a variety of shades of red, pink and yellow. Gold tones, brown tones, and even black or white paint can be mixed together... into one color patch or can look separate. Whether the colors mix into a color kaleidoscope or each one remains on its own, it seems to me that these color images help me relax and renounce everything as much as I want ... Multi-colored rainbows ... boat sails ... paintings ... and even balloons. I'm getting more and more relaxed.

5… the further I go down, the more complete the relaxation, I feel so good, I am not afraid of anything and I know that when I want to experience this feeling again, I can return it again. I know that I can travel wherever I please...to the future...or to the past...with or without color. A new sensation appeared in the fingers ... It looks like a damp coolness ... or maybe a slight tingling or numbness. There may be a feeling of numbness around the mouth, as if cool river water has touched the face ... It is so natural.

4… more and more relaxed.

3… descended even lower. I feel warmth in my body, and maybe even coolness. These sensations permeate me, as if I were “part of the picture or part of the landscape ... I see everything so vividly ... All this exists only for me.

2… here I am almost at the goal.

1… I relaxed even more. I take a deep breath and feel more calm and relaxed than ever ... as if I had reached a quiet marina. Perhaps I can imagine an even more secluded place in my mind.

Different figures may appear before the eyes ... circles ... triangles or squares. I can even color them. Coloring a circle or a triangle. Whether this circle is the oldest image of myself or the support that supports me, whether I really see with my mind's eye how the colors and slightly shapes of the figures change, it all exists anyway ... it is here ... at hand ... and heals me ... only by what exists next to me.

I will use my mind's eye to see the changes I suggest to myself. When I am ready for this, I will take a couple of deep breaths ... and exhalations ... and I will feel lightness or heaviness in my body. I can see how easy it became for my hands ... here is my left ... or maybe my right hand is getting lighter, it seems that it will now float ... like a leaf ... safe ... surrendering to the will of nature ... here's a little more ... calmly ... confidently ... Alive, straightened leaf ... in the stream.

It may seem that balloons are tied to the hand ... helium-filled colored balloons from a distant childhood. They make my hand almost weightless. It seems that she herself will now rise up ... like a balloon.

Let's see if I can visualize the balloons. I'll try to draw them mentally. I clearly see how bright they are and how they slowly tug at my hand by the strings tied to it. The hand can even rise slightly above the knees or armrest. It doesn't matter how high she is. I only realize that I am overcome by a blissful feeling of complete peace and relaxation.

In just a couple of minutes... I know that I can make a change in myself... the positive change that I strive for. I will feel how the energy hidden in me ... will begin to rise up and fall down, dispersing throughout the body.

[Now self-suggestion: Insert your goals by imagining and imagining them mentally and visually, vividly using all five senses in your imaginations. Think and imagine positively, showing positive emotions about what you want to achieve or change (within reason, of course)]

After the technique of suggestion - either exiting a trance, a relaxed state, or going into a state of sleep - at will

In a couple of minutes, perhaps sooner than I expect, I will feel the satisfaction of knowing that I have given myself a wonderful experience. I know that at any time I can relive this state of peace and self-control.

It is enough to take a few deep, calm breaths ... and exhalations ... and resort to imagination ... fully engage it in the work ... or at first partially ... and now I already see a ladder in front of me, take a few deep ... calm breaths ... and exhalations and return to the previous state of relaxation .

With each session of using the technique of self-hypnosis, it becomes easier for me to enter this state. Each time I relax more and more completely, I feel better and manage myself more and more reliably. It will be easier for me to enter this state, because I like the feeling of peace and self-control.

If I feel like falling into sleep or drowsiness...if I feel like it, I'll count from zero to twenty or thirty.

But I can return to my waking state by simply counting from zero to five. As I call each number, I wake up more and more, I perceive my surroundings more and more sharply. 0… 1… 2… 3… I awaken very evenly and gradually… 4… 5… my eyes opened, I wake up cheerful and fresh.

Self-hypnosis is widely used in hypnotherapy, using self-hypnosis techniques, in

  • Positive affirmations (settings for self-suggestion)
  • Suggestion (suggestion) is defined as the transmission and induction from one person to another of thoughts, moods, feelings, vegetative and motor reactions, behavior. The less the one who is being inspired thinks about what is being suggested to him, the more successful the suggestion is.

There are two parties involved in the process of suggestion. The inspirer usually has such mental and physical qualities with which he can influence the state of the psyche of another person. Suggestion occurs through words, as well as facial expressions and gestures.

The setting is of particular importance. If we are talking about therapeutic suggestion, then the fame of the psychotherapist plays an important role in this process. Knowing about him as a high-class specialist in a certain way prepares the patient for the session.

For the process of suggestion, suggestibility is also of great importance, that is, susceptibility to suggestion on the part of the one who will serve as its object. This is a kind of readiness for suggestion. Usually, increased suggestibility is observed in people with a weak type of nervous system and increased impressionability. Alcoholics and drug addicts have a particularly weak nervous system.

Along with suggestion, self-hypnosis often operates when a person himself believes in the miraculous power of any remedy.

They say that one musician, dismissed from the brass band, decided to take revenge on his comrades and chose this method for this. He waited until the orchestra was supposed to play a solemn march at some festival, went up to the musicians and began to eat ... a lemon. The mere sight of a lemon and the way the man eats the lemon caused the band members to salivate so much that they couldn't play!

This example may seem odd. It is possible that the story somewhat exaggerates the action of the spectacle. But it is needed in order to say: not only the taste and appearance of a lemon can cause salivation, but also the mention of it. What's the matter here?

Let's get acquainted with the so-called conditioned and unconditioned reflexes. You burned your finger with a match and pull your hand back immediately without thinking. Nerve fibers transmitted pain irritation of the skin to a group of cells of the central nervous system that are in charge of the motor functions of the muscles of the hands. The excitement that arose in them was immediately transmitted through other nerve fibers of the muscles. They contracted sharply - the hand twitched, the fire no longer burns the finger.

This is an unconditioned reflex. We have many of them. They are innate.

And conditioned reflexes need to be created, developed. Research in this area is associated with the name of our famous physiologist IP Pavlov. He showed that if some kind of unconditioned reflex is repeatedly accompanied by a certain stimulus, then after a while the stimulus will begin to cause this reflex.

Here is an example. You are pricked with a needle and at the same time the bell is rung. After a certain number of repetitions, the sound of the bell becomes a signal to withdraw the hand. The needle did not prick, and the hand twitched involuntarily. The conditioned reflex has been created.

Conditioned reflexes play an important role in the life of animals and humans. The child, having been burned by fire, further withdraws his hand before the fire again scorches his skin. A forest animal, having become intimately acquainted with some kind of danger, behaves more cautiously at another time. IP Pavlov called this perception of the surrounding reality by the human and animal brain the first signal system.

In addition, a person has a second signaling system. In this case, the conditioned stimulus is words-images and concepts. If, say, a person has experienced the strongest fright associated with a fire, then with him it is enough to shout: “Fire” to cause the same fright.

Both signaling systems in our body are closely interconnected. They represent the work of our central nervous system. And the latter regulates all the activities of the body. It is known that various emotional experiences (fear, grief, joy, etc.) can cause changes in the work of the heart (acceleration and slowing of the heartbeat, constriction or expansion of blood vessels, redness or blanching of the skin), can lead to graying of hair, etc. e. This means that in one way or another we can influence the work of many internal organs. And including it is possible to influence a word. It can significantly affect the psyche, and therefore, the work of the whole organism.

And so it happens: you hear the word "lemon", and it immediately makes you salivate.

In past centuries, the power of the word frightened superstitious people. Those who could do this were called sorcerers, capable of inflicting damage on a person. Half a century ago, in a village near Moscow, cows began to be pricked. The peasants decided that this was the work of a sorcerer (one old man was considered to be such). They thought about dealing with him.

But when they gathered near his hut, the old man came out of the house and shouted authoritatively: “I can do anything with you! You will now have diarrhea! - and he pointed to one peasant. “And you will start to stutter!” he pointed to another peasant. And indeed: one immediately felt an upset stomach, and the other began to stutter.

The thing is that the peasants were convinced of the omnipotence of the old man, believed that he was a sorcerer and was able to "send" the disease. It was this faith that did the work. The words of the old man, his suggestion had such a strong effect on the psyche of people, on their consciousness, that they actually began to have various disorders of the body.

An even more extraordinary story is told about a Napoleonic soldier who became famous for instantly curing diseases. When a man with a paralyzed leg came to him, he looked menacingly at him, and then commanded loudly: “Get up!” For some, this worked miraculously: the patient dropped his crutches and began to walk!

The soldier became so famous for his amazing healings that hundreds of people suffering from serious illnesses turned to him. He did not heal everyone, but some left him recovered. These were people with various nervous diseases: paralysis of the arms and legs, etc.

What about self-hypnosis? The famous actor I. N. Pevtsov stuttered, but on stage he overcame this lack of speech. How? The actor inspired himself that it was not he himself who was acting and speaking on the stage, but another person - a character in the play who did not stutter. And it has always worked.

The Parisian physician Mathieu did such an interesting experiment. He announced to his patients that he would soon receive from Germany a new drug that would quickly and reliably cure tuberculosis. At that time, there was no cure for this disease.

These words had a strong effect on the sick. No one, of course, thought that this was just an invention of the doctor. The doctor's suggestion turned out to be so effective that when he announced that he had received the medicine and began to treat it, many began to feel much better, and some even recovered.

How did he treat the sick? Plain water!

Suggestion and self-hypnosis can cure a person of a bad habit, make him not be afraid of what scares him, etc.

Probably, and you can remember a case from your life when you convinced yourself of something and it helped. Let's say this is an example. A person is afraid of the dark and at the same time knows that it is stupid. He goes into a dark room and says to himself: “There is nothing to be afraid of! There is nobody there!" Self-hypnosis works, and unconscious fear disappears.

Under the influence of self-hypnosis, a person may lose his legs and arms, or suddenly become deaf and blind. Such diseases are called psychogenic. They easily arise in people suffering from hysteria.

And this is what is significant here: in a person, for example, who has lost his sight, it is not the optic nerves that are damaged, but only the activity of that part of the brain that controls visual perception is disrupted. In it, under the influence of self-hypnosis, a persistent focus of painful inhibition develops, that is, nerve cells stop working for a long time. They stop receiving incoming signals and responding to them.

Suggestion and self-hypnosis have a great influence on such psychogenic diseases. With hysteria, seizures, convulsions, vomiting, dumbness, deafness, paralysis of the limbs can be observed. All of these disorders are often associated with self-hypnosis.

There are many reliable stories about fakirs, religious fanatics, medieval witches and sorcerers, indicating that in a state of ecstasy they lost sensitivity to pain and endured the most incredible self-torture and torture with amazing stamina.

You can recall even more incredible, at first glance, stories. In the spring of 1956, several thousand people gathered in front of a peasant woman's house in the German town of Konnerreit. Some have traveled tens, hundreds of kilometers. Everyone expected only one thing: to see Teresa Neumann.

Teresa Neumann is a stigmatist. This means that wounds-stigmas open on her body, similar in location and character to the wounds of the crucified Christ.

    Teresa Neumann

This strange story began in 1926, when Teresa was 28 years old. On her left side, directly opposite her heart, she suddenly had a wound that bled profusely. Wounds also appeared around the head, on the hands and feet. Doctor Otto Seidl was called from the nearest town. The doctor examined Teresa in detail. His report says that the wound against the heart is about 4 centimeters long. Lubricating the bleeding places with ointment, the puzzled doctor left.

Teresa felt excruciating pain until April 17, when the pain began to subside and soon disappeared. The wounds healed without leaving scars. However, they could hardly be called healed: they were covered with a transparent film through which muscle tissue was visible. Dr. Seidl was called again, and he wrote: “This is the most unusual case. Wounds do not fester, do not inflame. There is not the slightest possibility of forgery, as some have said."

After that, Teresa Neumann was repeatedly examined by doctors. It was found that she had open wounds on her hands, feet, forehead, and sides. Each year, shortly before Easter, these wounds begin to bleed, and the bleeding continues throughout the week following Easter, sometimes several days longer. The examination proves that it is indeed blood and that it begins to flow spontaneously.

For a person who heard this for the first time, it all seems like some kind of clever deception. Meanwhile, there is no fiction in the story. The history of stigmatists has more than 300 such cases. So, around the same years, in the western regions of Ukraine, the stigmatist laborer of the village of Mlyny, Lviv region, Nastya Voloshan, was known. She suffered from severe hysteria and, like Teresa Neumann, had "the wounds of Jesus Christ" on her arms and legs.

Already in 1914, 49 cases of stigmatization were described: 41 in women and 8 in men. In most cases, stigmatization arose on religious grounds. But such a case is also known: the sister was present at the cruel punishment of the whips of her beloved brother - and her back was covered with the same bleeding scars as his.

Despite all the seeming improbability of such phenomena, they have their own explanation. Before us is the same result of self-hypnosis. Of course, it is possible only in persons with an exceptionally excitable, highly disturbed, sickly psyche. Not only real, but also imaginary suffering affects such people so strongly that it is reflected in the work of internal organs.

In morbidly suspicious people, thoughts about the disease cause the disease itself, which in appearance strongly resembles this or that disease. There are cases when bleeding from the throat began, as with tuberculosis, ulcers appeared on the body, resembling various skin diseases, etc.

The occurrence of ulcers in stigmata has the same mechanism. All such patients belong to fanatically believing people. In the last week before Easter, churches read about how Christ was crucified, and this can have such a strong effect on a sick person that his psyche cannot stand it: an obsessive thought appears about the torments that Christ experienced when he was nailed to the cross. Hallucinations begin. Before the eyes of this man, as if alive, is a picture of the crucifixion. The whole nervous system is shaken. And here is the result: in those places where Christ had wounds, open bleeding wounds appear in those tormented by mental illness.

Faith and words can also play a decisive role in the treatment of such patients. Faith in the person who heals, faith in what he says.

    V. M. Bekhterev wrote about this:

“The secret of healing suggestion was known to many people from the common people, among whom it was passed from mouth to mouth for centuries under the guise of sorcery, witchcraft, conspiracies, etc. Self-hypnosis explains, for example, the effect of many so-called sympathetic means, which often have some healing action.

Ferraus cured fever with a piece of paper on which were inscribed two words: "Against fever." The patient had to tear off one letter every day. There are known cases of the healing effect of “bread pills”, “Neva water”, “laying on of hands”, etc.

Even today, one often hears: the old woman “spoke” the wart, and it disappeared. It happens, and there is nothing miraculous about it. The healer here is suggestion and self-hypnosis. More specifically, the belief that a healer can heal a person. When she comes to the patient, he has already heard about her, knows that she has cured someone, and longs for a cure.

And it doesn’t matter at all whether the healer ties the wart with thread or hair, it doesn’t matter what she whispers over this wart. Everything is decided by the belief that the wart will disappear after such a “conspiracy”.

A man destroys his wart by self-hypnosis! The suggestion of the sorceress also works here, when she confidently says: the wart will come off.

Psychiatrists have repeatedly repeated this method of treatment. One doctor, for example, moistened a wart with ordinary water, and told the person that this was a new, powerful medicine, from which the wart should disappear. And it worked for many. People believed in the medicine, that it would help them, and the warts disappeared.

This explains the "miraculous" healings known in history at various "holy places". This was the case, in particular, in France at the grave of the Catholic deacon Francois de Paris, who died in 1728.

Engraving depicting the deceased François de Paris

The first to come to the grave was the silk winder Madeleine Begny, who lost her arm. She was led here by the belief that the body of a deacon who lived a “righteous” life gained the ability to heal diseases.

After kissing the grave, she felt some relief, and when she returned home, she was already so fluent in her hand that she immediately set to work with both hands. After that, suffering from various ailments began to flock to the grave, and some of them were actually healed.

For over a hundred years, a small town in the south of France, Lourdes, has been famous among Catholics for “miraculous” healings. A water source allegedly possesses miraculous power here. Bathed in it, you can be healed. In fact, a well-thought-out system of influencing the minds of pilgrims is the basis of the Lourdes “miracles”.

Who's going to Lourdes? As a rule, these are people who really hope for a miraculous healing. After all, the “miracles” of Lourdes are spoken about from the pulpits of cathedrals, written in newspapers, eyewitnesses talk about them.

And the sick are on their way. Since that time, all attention, all talk - about miraculous healings. And here the “holy fathers” take up the pilgrim. Each carriage on trains to Lourdes is accompanied by monks, special "sisters" and "brothers" of mercy. They get acquainted with each patient, his relatives, tell them all kinds of stories about the miracles of Lourdes, distribute special books, photographs of those who have recovered from the pilgrimage.

When the pilgrims arrive in Lourdes, they are met by new clergymen and led to the "holy grotto". They are silent, their every movement seems meaningful.

During prayer at the grotto, all the sick in chorus repeat the same words: “Lord Jesus! Heal our sick! Almighty Virgin, save us!” These words sound with greater faith and hope, nervous excitement grows, and now loud sighs and hysterical cries are heard in the crowd of worshippers.

It is easy to see how important suggestion and self-hypnosis are here. An environment conducive to the emergence of a hypnotic state is created. In the novel Lourdes, Émile Zola excellently described one such healing in such an illustrious place.

“... The eyes of the patient, still devoid of any expression, widened, and her pale face was distorted, as if from unbearable pain. She said nothing and seemed to be in despair. But at that moment, when the holy gifts were carried and she saw the monstrance sparkling in the sun, she was as if blinded by lightning.

The eyes flashed, life appeared in them, and they lit up like stars. His face brightened, blushed, lit up with a joyful, healthy smile. Pierre saw how she immediately got up, straightened up in her cart ...

Unbridled delight seized thousands of excited pilgrims, crushing each other to see the healed one, filling the air with cries, words of gratitude and praise. There was a storm of applause, and their thunder rolled through the valley.

Father Furkin shook his hands, Father Massias shouted something from the pulpit; finally heard it:

“God has visited us, dear brothers and sisters…”

While promoting the "miracles" of Lourdes, the clergy claimed that there were several miraculous healings there. For a hundred years, thousands of names of supposedly healed people were recorded in a special book. However, a check of this book (checked by a special commission consisting of doctors) showed that in a hundred years there were only 14 healings in Lourdes. All of them are explained by science.

We must remember that miraculous healing can lead to ... fear. A case is known when a woman who jumped out of a window fell at the feet of an old man with a paralyzed half of her body and loss of speech. It affected him so much that he started talking again!

Healers also resort to treatment with fright. For example, a cat is suddenly thrown at a sick person. The medicine of the Napoleonic soldier mentioned above also acted in the same way. When he loudly and authoritatively commanded "Get up!" - this word affected others so strongly (remember his fame as a doctor) that the hysterical paralysis of the legs suddenly disappeared. The focus of inhibition, which struck the motor centers of the nervous system, was removed, and the muscles began to work.

If we recall the history of peoples, it is not difficult to see that such methods of treatment were already known in the ancient world. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor V. E. Rozhnov writes:

“The ancient Greeks prayed for health and strength to the healing god Asclepius. The most famous of the temples dedicated to him was located eight kilometers from the city of Epidaurus. The temple had a special room for sleeping pilgrims who flocked from all over the country. It was called "abaton". It was possible to enter here only after passing preliminary complex ceremonies of "purification" of the soul and body.

The priests of the temple talked to everyone for a long time, asking what brought him here, strengthening the hope for recovery, faith in the power and kindness of God - the giver of health. The location and the whole atmosphere of the temple contributed a lot to this. It was located in a dense green grove, among which dozens of crystal clear streams gurgled. The wind carried the fresh smell of the sea here.

The fabulous charm of nature merged into indestructible harmony with the majestic and austere beauty of the snow-white building of the temple itself. In the center of it stood a huge marble statue of Asclepius. The outer walls of the temple were made of huge stone slabs, on which inscriptions were carved, telling about the most outstanding healings that took place here.

These slabs were found by archaeologists during excavations, and according to the surviving inscriptions, it is possible to establish what diseases and why were cured here. Here, for example, is one of them: “The girl is dumb. Running around the temple, she saw a snake crawling up a tree in a grove; in horror she began to call her father and mother and left here healthy.

Another: “Nikanor is paralyzed. While he was sitting and resting, a boy stole his crutch from him and ran away. He jumped up and ran after him."

    Asclepius

Psychiatrists have long known how healing sometimes the action of sudden emotional stimuli (in the first case, sudden fright, in the second, anger) is, and they successfully use them to treat various manifestations of hysteria, including to eliminate some paralysis, blindness, deafness, and silence. So there is, of course, nothing supernatural in these facts of healing the dumb and the paralytic.

To all that has been said, let us add that, of course, such healings are not at all frequent, and, moreover, they do not always lead to a complete restoration of the patient's health.

The Leningrad scientist L. L. Vasiliev spoke about an incident that happened before his eyes. A young man, coming out of a hotly heated village bath, noticed a disgusting insect that he had not seen before - an earwig. With a feeling of disgust, he took the insect with the fingers of his right hand in order to examine it closer.

The earwig twisted and tried to pinch the finger holding it with its "forceps"; but she did not succeed, because the man, crying out in surprise, with a sharp movement shook the insect to the ground. And after some time, distinctly visible purple spots appeared on the skin areas of the fingers with which the insect was taken - one on the index finger and two on the thumb. Neither burning nor pain in the reddened areas of the skin was felt. Failed to remove stains.

    What happened?

Strong fright and self-hypnosis played a role here, that the earwig had bitten a finger, although in reality this was not the case. Fright and self-hypnosis caused local expansion of the skin blood vessels.

So it turns out that in 90 cases out of 100 we are sick with diseases suggested by us. British doctors came to this conclusion.

English doctors offer several ways to deal with dangerous self-hypnosis, which we are not aware of. The simplest, in their opinion, is to repeat to yourself that you are healthy. And one has only to think about the disease, as it will immediately be revealed.

Another effective means of fighting for their health, English doctors consider daytime sleep. At the same time, before falling asleep, it is strongly recommended to inspire yourself that you are lying on the beach on warm sand or fishing. These "pictures" should contribute to sound sleep and release the brain from tension.

And Vernon Coleman, who deals with the issues of suggestion in the fight against “non-invented” diseases, recommends during the period of illness to try to visualize the infection in the form of an obsessive guest, but at the same time extremely thin and frail, homeless and frightened. This will help you easily drive the "tramp".

By the way, in this way, until the end of the 17th century, surgeons coped with diseases, both bodily and spiritual. In the treatment of "possession" a simple psychological device was often used. The doctor made a slight incision on the patient's abdomen and signaled to the assistant, who released a live bat from the bag, after which everyone watched with relief as the "demon" flies away.

self-hypnosis- The best way cure any disease on your own, even when medicine is unable to help you. This has long been proven by many people who have cured themselves by self-hypnosis when medicine was powerless. But today, few people believe and know that self-hypnosis treatment accessible to everyone and everyone.

We are used to other people thinking for us and our health, we go to the doctor when we feel bad, without maintaining our health and not preserving it from early childhood. Psychologists have prepared a number of effective methods so that your self-hypnosis treatment went well on its own.

Decide what your disease is and what causes it

First of all, to treatment self-hypnosis went well, you need to decide what kind of illness you have. After that, write it down on a piece of paper, in as much detail as possible, when it occurred, why and what symptoms it has. You must know as much as possible about the disease itself, because without knowing this, the method of autosuggestion will be powerless.

In most cases, the main cause of disease in humans is also self-hypnosis disease, because people themselves inspired their disease. Perhaps this person thought a lot about illnesses, or he was surrounded by sick people or those who constantly talk about illnesses, or this person was constantly asked about his health, which led to doubts, and he fell ill. There are many reasons, the main thing is to find your cause of the disease.

Do not renounce medicine, all cures are important

We should not forget about medicine, let alone renounce it, relying only on self-hypnosis, all methods of healing are important. Treatment self-hypnosis, is used only when medicine is powerless and doctors give up. The most important thing is that the patient's hands do not fall. Since there are a number of cases when a person, being in a critical condition and doctors said that there was nothing to be done, was cured by self-hypnosis. But if your disease can be easily cured by medicine, then do not renounce it, and consult a doctor as soon as possible and in time.

Imagine mentally that you are healthy

Those who cured through self-hypnosis, when medicine was powerless, shared their experience and told how they managed to become healthy and be cured by self-hypnosis. The most important thing they say is to believe that you can be cured and this faith must be supported by a strong desire, happiness and joy. After that, you need to visualize yourself as often and daily as possible, that you are already healthy, how you live, how you breathe, play, walk, take off your clothes. By imagining themselves in their thoughts, these people created their future and changed their fate, which was inscribed by doctors. Believe and follow this method.

Be grateful for everything you have and everything you don't yet have.

The girl, who was at the last stage of cancer, when the doctors said that there was nothing to fix, applied the method of self-hypnosis treatment on her own in practice. She began her day by thanking God for what she already had and what she did not yet have. She said: Thank God for curing me, repeating this phrase 100-200 times daily. The girl also drank tea, watched funny programs, she began to live as if she had already recovered. After another study, the doctors were amazed, they did not find cancer cells in the girl, the girl was completely healthy. Therefore, remember, you always need to remain human, believe, thank and rejoice in what is already there, and what is not there, but you really want it.

    Self-care for recovery

on one's own useful, but if you do not have experience yet, then it is better to consult a doctor, all ways of healing are important and necessary. There are many autosuggestion phrases that have helped people heal various diseases, here is the most effective and best autosuggestion treatment phrase:

Every day I become more better and healthier

With every hour I become more better and healthier

Every minute I become more better and healthier

Every moment I become more better and healthier.

This phrase must be pronounced 500 times or more a day, you can record it on a voice recorder and listen, you can say it out loud or to yourself. If you believe in God, you can also, as an addition, read prayers for healing. The main thing is to believe that you are healthy, and do everything necessary to be so.

    Reading time: 1 minute

Self-hypnosis is the impact of a psychological nature by an individual on his own consciousness, which is characterized by an uncritical perception of attitudes and worldviews. Thus, autosuggestion is the suggestion by the subject to his consciousness of ideas, attitudes, various thoughts and feelings. Self-hypnosis of a person can be embodied with the help of autogenic training, which is an independent reading (it doesn’t matter to oneself or aloud) or pronouncing certain words, sentences in order to influence one’s own personality. People may encounter self-hypnosis of varying intensity everywhere, for example, when suppressing a feeling of fear in front of this or that obstacle, overcoming a feeling of insecurity while reading a report in public.

Self-hypnosis of a person is divided into passive suggestion and active, beneficial action and harmful influence. Medicine knows the facts when the power of self-hypnosis of a harmful effect chained an individual to a hospital bed for many years or made a person disabled, and, on the contrary, more than once a conscious auto-suggestion of a beneficial effect helped the individual to heal.

    Self-hypnosis methods

Self-hypnosis and self-hypnosis contributes to the induction of sensations, perceptions, emotional states or volitional impulses in one's own person, and also affects the vegetative processes of the body.

The essence of self-hypnosis methods lies in the development of positive stimuli through the regular reproduction of specially selected statements until they are transformed into a working tool of the human subconscious, which will begin to act in accordance with this stimulus, transforming thoughts into a physical equivalent. The power of self-hypnosis lies in the regular reproduction of installations for the subconscious.

Auto-suggestion sentences should be pronounced mentally in an imperative tone in the first person in an affirmative form. The negative meaning or the negative particle “not” in autosuggestion formulas is prohibited. If the subject, for example, seeks to quit smoking by means of a self-hypnosis formula, then instead of the phrase: "I do not smoke", the statement should be pronounced: "I quit smoking." It is also not recommended to pronounce long monologues. Installations should be short, and they should be spoken slowly, focusing on the object of suggestion. In the process of pronouncing each installation, it is recommended to colorfully represent what is suggested.

The methods that include target formulas (that is, thoughts that carry a clear, meaningful attitude to the subconscious mind) that occur against the background of a relaxed state of the body have the most effective impact. Hence, the more the individual's body is relaxed, the more pliable his subconscious will become for goal-directed settings.

The effect of self-hypnosis is directly dependent on the level of desire to achieve the set goal, on the level of focusing attention on the setting formulas for the subconscious.

Today, there are a huge number of self-hypnosis methods, which include well-known affirmations, various meditative techniques, mantras, and many other psychotechnics.

Affirmations are considered the simplest among the methods of self-hypnosis. They are a method of self-hypnosis, consisting in repeating a verbal formula either aloud or to oneself.

The meaning of this psychotechnics is to formulate a sentence that contains a message that a certain goal has been achieved. For example, "I have a great job." Thanks to the regular utterance of affirmations, positive thoughts replace negative attitudes, gradually replacing them completely. As a result, everything repeated will come true in life.

Gratitude is considered a more powerful form of affirmation. Gratitude is the second most powerful emotion after love. Therefore, gratitude is a stronger psychotechnique. Indeed, in the process of gratitude, a powerful positive flow of emotions is born in the soul, affecting the consciousness and its psyche. It follows from this that one must be grateful for everything: for life, for the day, for the sun, for parents, etc. You can even be grateful for something that is not yet present in life. For example, a subject dreaming of his own home may say the following phrase: "Thank you, Universe, for my beautiful, large, modern and comfortable home." Over time, this formulation will do its job, and the grateful subject will have his own home.

The effectiveness of affirmations depends on the frequency of repetition, regularity. Affirmations should become the content of the whole day. In other words, during the working day, you can do absolutely everything, while holding the desired affirmation on the surface of your memory.
Visualization is the mental image and experience of the events represented. The essence of this psychotechnics is not only the representation of the desired, but also living in the desired situation.

Visualization is so effective because the mind is not able to distinguish between real events and imagined ones. When an individual imagines something, his mind thinks that it is actually happening. It is important to perceive everything with your own eyes. That is, not to be an observer, but to live oneself. So, for example, an individual dreams of a car. To do this, he needs not just to imagine the car, but to feel its lining, feel the steering wheel, see himself driving the desired car and look at the road from the front seat.

Visualization should be exclusively positive. It is recommended to practice this psychotechnics in a quiet, comfortable environment, in a comfortable position and in a relaxed state. The mental image laid down in the subconscious by an individual must have clarity and brightness. The duration of the rendering does not matter. Here, the main criterion of effectiveness will be the pleasure of the practicing individual. That is, it is necessary to visualize while the individual receives pleasure and positive emotions from this.

The effect of self-hypnosis through visualization depends on regularity. In other words, the more often an individual presents the desired object, the faster he will get it.

Another popular method of self-hypnosis is Emile Coue's self-hypnosis. This psychotechnics consists in monotonous pronunciation in a whisper of one phrase without tension at least 20 times. In this case, the individual should be in a comfortable position with his eyes closed. The verbal formula should be characterized by a simple, positive content and consist of a couple of words, a maximum of four phrases. A session of psychotechnics lasts no more than four minutes and is repeated three times a day for at least 6 weeks. E. Coue considered the best time for self-hypnosis of the state after waking up and immediately before falling asleep. Using conscious auto-suggestion, Emile Coue appeals exclusively to the imagination, and not to the will of individuals. Since the imagination plays a primary role, it is immeasurably more powerful than the will.

Autogenic training is both self-hypnosis and self-hypnosis. The creator of the method of autogenic training is I. Schultz. The basis of this psychotechnics is some of the findings of yogis, the practice of using the self-hypnosis technique of E. Coue, the experience of analyzing the sensations of individuals immersed in a hypnotic state, and other practices.

Applying this psychotechnics, one should achieve a state of relaxation, which is an interval between reality and sleep. Having achieved complete relaxation, you need to:
    - activate memories that have a connection with the pleasant, experienced earlier;

    If necessary, induce calm;

Accompany the installation of self-hypnosis with representations of various images.

The effectiveness of the practice of this method depends on the level of concentration. Psychotechnics requires daily exercise at least twice a day. Passing reduces the effect.

    Self-hypnosis treatment

An effective method of self-healing from ailments is self-hypnosis of a person. This method is effective in cases where official medicine in helplessness "shrugged it off". So, for example, V. Bekhterev believed that the healing effect of the impact of prayer is based on self-hypnosis, which affects through connection with religious emotion.

It is believed that the ultimate effect of the treatment is achieved only when the patient believes in a cure. Therefore, often, absolute belief in healing is stronger than pills.

Conscious self-hypnosis according to the Coue method consists in repeating aloud at least three times a day the self-hypnosis formula. In the process of pronouncing the formula, the individual should be in a comfortable position. The phrase "I'm getting better every minute" is an example of the Coué self-hypnosis formula. He believed that it is absolutely unimportant whether the meaning of the uttered formula corresponds to reality or not. Since the installation is addressed to the subconscious, which is distinguished by gullibility. The human subconscious accepts any setting as truth or as an order to be executed. It is necessary to pronounce the verbal formula out loud. If it is not possible to pronounce the phrase aloud, you can pronounce it to yourself while moving your lips. The main thing in healing by autosuggestion is the positive direction of the formula, otherwise you can get autosuggestion of pain, instead of a cure.

You can refer to a single organ or to the whole organism. Coué believed that brief positive formulations worked better in the body than any pill. It is believed that positive thinking is existence.

The psychotechnics of self-hypnosis according to Shichko's method is also the pronunciation of phrases, but with their preliminary writing on paper. Shichko believed that in this way the impact would be more effective and faster. He recommended that before going to bed, write a self-hypnosis formula on a piece of paper several times, after that go to bed, saying the written phrase to yourself.

The balloon is another method of self-hypnosis, which allows not only to get rid of various life problems, but also to successfully cure ailments. It consists in visualizing a deflated balloon above the head, which must be filled on exhalation with problems, ailments, and negative experiences. After the ball is completely filled, you should release the ball up as you exhale. As the ball moves away in the imagination of the individual, it should be imagined that all the negativity with which the ball is filled flies away with it. This method is recommended to be used immediately before going to bed, then in addition to getting rid of problems, a healthy sleep is also acquired.

The method of auto-training is successfully used to treat patients with nervous disorders, cardiovascular diseases and ailments of the genitourinary system, relieves various addictions, overweight.

The technique of treatment with the help of self-hypnosis is also successfully used for general strengthening of the body, increasing its tone, and improving the emotional mood. This psychotechnique is successful in blues, apathy, emotional decline, for example, due to a break in relationships. It is believed that the mental suffering received during the breakup of a relationship lasts no more than a few hours, longer suffering is only self-hypnosis of pain.

In addition, auto-training allows you to relieve pain, relieve tension, relax. The advantage of treatment is the ease and simplicity in mastering the techniques.

Self-hypnosis techniques do not require any violence or coercion. With self-hypnosis, there is no "breaking" or suppression of one's own desires.

Performing various psychotechnics to get rid of ailments, the individual is guided only by his own aspirations and feelings.
