The Faculty of Chemistry and Technology invites students and teachers to take part in the IV Regional Olympiad in Chemistry "Khimonia - 2016"(April-May 2016) The purpose of the competition is to popularize the Olympiad movement in chemistry, to identify, support and develop gifted students.
The objectives of the Olympiad are:
1) disclosure creativity students;
2) development of a non-standard style of thinking;
3) activation of extra-curricular and out-of-school work in chemistry;
4) search for talented youth and organization of professional orientation;
5) involvement of chemistry students in the organization of the Olympiad movement in the Tver region;
6) creation of conditions for professional growth of chemistry teachers.
I. The Olympiad is held in three age groups: 8th grade, 9th grade, 10th grade.
The competition is held in two stages.
II. Olympiad dates:
Second (regional) May 14, 2016 III. Documents required for participation in the Olympiad To participate in the regional stage of the competition, it is necessary to send an application for participation to the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad before May 12, 2016. Representation norm - no more than 3 people. for each age group; from educational institution- no more than 9 students. In exceptional cases, in agreement with the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad, the representation rate for individual educational institutions may be increased. Total places for participation are limited (no more than 300 people).
An application from an educational institution is sent (in one file) by e-mail (E-mail: [email protected]). In the name of the file and the subject of the letter, you must specify - "Application_for_Olympiad_Khimonya_2016". In response, you will receive an email notification of receipt.

VI. Rules for participation in the Olympiad
Students of 8th, 9th and 10th grades can take part in the competition educational institutions Tver and the Tver region, showing interest in the study of chemistry.
The first stage of the competition is school. The educational institution independently conducts preparatory activities: notifies students about the Olympiad, selects and prints tasks, organizes verification of work and awarding the winners (certificate form for participation - see Appendix). On the this stage Restrictions on the number of participants in the competition are determined by the educational institution independently.

Winners and prize-winners of the school stage are invited to the second (regional) stage of the Olympiad "Khimonya-2016": up to nine students from an educational institution - three people each from 8th, 9th and 10th grades.
The regional stage is held in the secondary school No. 43 in Tver at the address: Tver, st. Sklizkova, 95 (Microdistrict "Chaika").
At the regional stage, students are invited to solve:
10 test tasks of the basic level of complexity: time to complete - 25 minutes;
task number 1 advanced level complexity (level of the municipal stage All-Russian Olympiad schoolchildren): time to complete - 40 minutes;
task number 2 high level complexity (the level of the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren): time to complete - 55 minutes.
The total time to complete the tasks is 120 minutes (2 hours).
During the performance of tasks, students are prohibited from using any means of communication and their own sources. background information(including tablet and pocket computers, communicators, smartphones, electronic notebooks, directories, tables, textbooks, etc.). Participants of the Olympiad who violate this rule are subject to mandatory disqualification.

VIII. Jury procedure. Summing up the results of the Olympiad Checking the work is organized directly during the Olympiad (test tasks, task No. 1) and after the end (task No. 2) on May 14, 2016. The jury consists of: chemistry teachers of educational institutions who take part in the Olympiad (accompanying);
experienced teachers specially invited to check the work, teachers and chemistry students of TvGTU and TvGU.
Before checking the work of the participants are encrypted. Execution check test items is carried out 25 minutes after the start of the Olympiad. Verification of solutions to problem No. 1 is carried out 65 minutes after the start of the competition. Verification of solutions to problem No. 2 is carried out after the completion of the work by schoolchildren (in 120 minutes). Based on the results of the check, he draws up a general protocol.
The number of prize-winners and winners of the Olympiad is determined on the basis of up to 30% of the number of participants in each age category.
The winners and prize-winners of the regional Olympiad "Khimonya-2016" will be invited to participate in the V Summer School of the Olympic Reserve, which will be held in June 2016 on the basis of the secondary school No. 45 in Tver (project curator - Tatyana Anatolyevna Gorbunova).
IX. Financial conditions for participation in the Olympiad Participation in all stages of the Olympiad is free of charge. Travel to the venue of the regional stage and back is carried out at the expense of the sending party (educational institution) or at the expense of the parents of students.
