Domestic weapons and military equipment. In Chechnya, a partial reduction of excess forces and means of the combined group of troops began 74 motorized rifle brigade

Regular military and contract soldiers of the Armed Forces Russian Federation have become an integral part of the armed conflict that is taking place on the territory of Ukraine.
Columns of military equipment, trains with ammunition and fuel and lubricants, units and brigades deployed to Donbass, these are the realities of the “Russian world”.
With the help of force, deceit and manipulation, the “Kremlin curators” have been trying to impose their opinion and vision of life principles on the Ukrainian people for the third year already. The so-called "militias" or "Army of the Southeast" without support Russian government would have been defeated long ago. Many members of illegal armed groups (which were created in 2014 under the leadership of the same FSB and State Apparatus of the Russian Federation) realized their guilt, left the groups or went on the run. Many, disappointed, simply handed over their weapons and sold their uniforms and went home. Therefore, in order to maintain an unstable situation on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the persons responsible for the occupation of Ukrainian territories decided to use the RF Armed Forces in the ATO zone. This decision was not spontaneous. Since the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense recently published evidence (in the form of audio materials) about the direct participation of the Russian government in destabilizing the situation in Ukraine. Which is proof of armed aggression against our country. The government of the Russian Federation can endlessly prove that the RF Armed Forces are not on the territory of Ukraine. And our team, receiving data from open sources, will continue to collect material on the participation of regular military and contract soldiers Russian army in the clashes in the Donbass.

Some members of illegal armed groups have several accounts on social networks. That makes it possible for some time to live by double standards.
That's Mikhailov Roman on one of his pages is an active member of a group of militants, and on the other he is also a serviceman of the RF Armed Forces. On March 9, 2015, Mikhailov publishes a photograph where he is in the uniform of the Russian army, and the chevrons indicate his attitude towards the 74th Motorized Rifle Brigade. Also in the photo are shoulder straps that indicate that Mikhailov is a junior sergeant of the RF Armed Forces.

The location of the 74th Separate Guards Zvenigorod-Berlin Order of Suvorov, 2nd degree motorized rifle brigade, or military unit 21005, is the city of Yurga, Kemerovo Region. The unit is part of the 41st separate army of the Central Military District. From autumn 1999 to spring 2001 officers and soldiers of the formation were involved in the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus, including the storming of Grozny.

Photo published by Mikhailov Roman on March 14, 2015. The photo shows the chevrons of the 74th Motorized Rifle Brigade and insignia in the form of shoulder straps of a junior sergeant of the RF Armed Forces.

And on May 21, 2015, Mikhailov Roman, a serviceman military unit 21005 is already among the members of the illegal armed groups of the DNR/LNR.

Subsequently, in 2016, Mikhailov Roman "lit up" at the congress of volunteers of "Novorossia" which was held on the territory of the Russian Federation.

There is also a photo with Oleksandr Borodai, who is the General Counselor, First Deputy Chairman of the Council of MinistersDPR , and part-time head of the "Union of Volunteers of Donbass". The photo shows: 1 - Mikhailov Roman, 2 - Alexander Boroday.

Not a day without #InformNapalm and identified "seconded". Today, here are the tankers of the 74th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Federation

Editorial note . We publish an interesting article by our partner InformNapalm. This time Irakli Komakhidze in the course of the OSINT investigation, he was able to identify and identify 10 Russian soldiers of the 74th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the RF Armed Forces who took part (as part of the Kremlin’s terrorist-hybrid troops) in military operations both in eastern Ukraine and in Syria.

Tankers of the 74th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian army, whose tactical group took part in the battles in the Donbass in the summer and autumn of 2014, have been identified.

The InformNapalm international volunteer community conducted a new OSINT investigation aimed at identifying Russian servicemen of the tactical group of the 74th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (military unit 21005, Kemerovo Region, Yurga) of the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District armed forces Russia, who took part in the battles in the Donbass in the summer and autumn of 2014. According to the results of the work carried out, ten out of thirty tankers of the tactical group of this military unit were identified, who left their dirty mark not only on Ukrainian soil, but also on social networks.

Identification of Russian war criminals was carried out by group photographs (i) uploaded to the social network profile of a serviceman of the 74th Motorized Rifle Brigade, a "veteran" of hostilities in the Donbass Alexandra Nodya September 14, 2014. It should be noted that the first mention of a brigade from Yurga as part of the Rostov group Russian Forces The invasion by InformNapalm refers to September 2014. And the first photographic evidence of her “Rostov-Ukrainian business trip” was obtained by us in November 2014.

It is noteworthy that the name of A. Nodya and a number of photographs appeared in open sources before. In particular, the InformNapalm publication dated November 7, 2014 featured a series of photographs of servicemen of the 74th brigade, including those with a damaged T-72 tank and the process of its evacuation. Since at that time the activities of our community were aimed at disseminating operational information regarding the forces and means of the Russian occupiers, for obvious reasons, we did not indicate links to the sources of photographs. A month later, on December 18, 2014, information from a blogger appeared on social networksuyu1 , according to which the mentioned tanks (photo from A. Nod's profile) were seen in a convoy of Russian military near Sukhodolsk - between Krasnodon and Molodogvardeysk, Luhansk region, highway M04.

Many servicemen of the 74th brigade, who went through the Ukrainian business trip, signed the so-called. Non-Disclosure Obligations of Restricted Information. Often in their profiles there is no hint not only of participation in the battles in the Donbass, but also of their belonging to the RF Armed Forces. Despite all these nuances, we still managed to identify 10 invaders.

He did not even have time to make a toast, when the operational duty officer came running and said that Savin had been ambushed. Tables on the ground and on the horses. And then it started.”1

From the memoirs of V.V. Lavrentyeva: “On the night of January 31-1, we were driving from Mozdok to Grozny in our infantry fighting vehicles in a convoy. The car where [Private Aleksey Yuryevich] Bakulin was was remained in the field, there was a breakdown in it, I don’t know what exactly. I heard that they got lost, the car was found burnt down a month later, they found Aleksey at the 9-storey building, burnt, he sat with his face covered with his hands, his hands were also burned, and he muttered something, he could not speak, he made some sounds , his right lung was shot through, but it turned out later, when it was too late. Their car burned down, or rather was lost on the first day they entered Grozny. A few days later they found Alexei and Zhenya, and the rest of the crew has not yet been found ."2

Captain from 2 MSB 74 Guards. Omsbr V.N. Lazarev: "At the entrance to the city, two infantry fighting vehicles and a tank were destroyed at once. The day broke through."3

Exit to the railway station

Lieutenant TB 74 Guards. Omsbr Alexander Gavrilyuk: “On the night of January 1-2 of this year, we entered the battle on Chechen soil. To be honest, this battle was stupid. We didn’t know where to shoot, what to do. Chechen voices were on the air: “Back, back! "Almost in the first days, victims appeared in the battalion - the crew died. Combat experience was gained through losses." 4

According to the captain from 2 MSB 74 Guards. Omsbr V.N. Lazarev, on the night of January 1-2, “we managed to break through [near the railway station] through the rubble of corpses, both ours and yours. Everything was on fire. It was pitch hell. We managed to save only about ten people. Then it became known that about 23 more people went to various units of our brigade.<...>After the railway station, we went to the aid of the Ulyanovsk residents and knocked out the spirits from the Severny. "5

The episode with the airport is not yet clear, because. there is ample evidence that the airport was busy Russian troops on the morning of December 31st.

After the injury of Colonel Arkady Viktorovich Bakhin6, the brigade was commanded by the beginning. revival departments work of the 8th Guards. AK Colonel Viktor Gennadievich Skopenko7, and later - assistant to the NSh of the medical and sanitary battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Nikolai Mikhailovich Batalov.8 ()

At the republican hospital

"On the night of January 2 to 3, Lieutenant General Lev Rokhlin was transferred to operational control of the 81st and 276th motorized rifle regiments, the remnants of the 131st brigade, part of the corps subordination of the 67th army corps and the newly arrived 74th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Siberian military district "9, in addition," the "North" and "North-East" groups were merged into one - "North "- under the command of General Lev Rokhlin."10

At 06:00 on January 3, a motorized rifle battalion [whose?]11 arrived in the area of the station, which could replace 2 Motorized Rifle Battalions of the 74th Guards. omsbr. Probably, after that the brigade advanced to the republican hospital.

Captain from 2 MSB 74 Guards. Omsbr V.N. Lazarev: “Then they attacked the hospital complex. It changed hands several times before us. Little was left of the complex itself. It was located not far from the Grozny Oil Institute. .<...>We then lost twelve people in one day. "12

From the award list of the captain of the 74th Guards. Omsbr Yuri Gennadyevich Moiseev: "On January 3, 1995, during the storming of the building of a military college in Grozny, Captain Yu. Moiseev commanded an armored group, which broke through the fire to the building. During the battle, Captain Moiseev's armored group destroyed eight enemy firing points with accurate fire. During the next maneuver, the tank, in which Yuri was shot from grenade launchers and caught fire. Risking his life, Yuri evacuated the wounded driver from the tank, but he himself was seriously injured. Bleeding, Moiseev crawled to a neighboring tank and continued to direct the actions of his subordinates until the end of the battle. completed the task. Moiseev died in the hospital from his wounds. "13

Lieutenant TB 74 Guards. Omsbr Alexander Gavrilyuk: "In one of the battles in the direction of the buildings of the Council of Ministers and presidential palace The company came under mortar fire. Then Yuri Moiseev was seriously wounded, who lived only a day ... To be honest: it was scary. Equipment is on fire, people are rushing about, buildings are collapsing. Major Rafikov, a battalion commander from the Volgograd regiment, then took our equipment out of the shelling. And then he said: “Guys, they are killing here. Set up guards at night, otherwise they will cut you. During street fighting, do not shoot from an anti-aircraft machine gun - a sniper will detect. Once again, do not stick out and take care of people.” He was the only officer who explained what to do, how to save money. There is a lot to be said about officers. But I had a case: a colonel, head of the combat training department of the Volgograd Corps, ran up to us and asked: "Guys, help, a motorized rifle company was ambushed, cover." He himself got into the tank and led into battle. The car was hit six times from a grenade launcher, but the crew survived. Shouts on the radio: "Son, I'm on fire, can you hold out ?!" I answer that I will. We covered the company ... "14

From the description of the hostilities: "An attempt to capture by attack from the side of the hospital complex a bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Sunzha River led on January 3 to the loss of two T-72B (M) tanks from artillery and grenade launcher fire from the 74th guards brigade that entered the city the day before. After cutting off the infantry from the tanks, the latter were instantly knocked out near the bridge, replenishing the account of the irretrievable losses of the tank units storming Grozny. Covering the departure of the crews with machine gun fire, the wounded soldier A[aleksandr Nikolaevich]. Ryabokon died near his combat vehicle. "15

According to the captain from 2 MSB 74 Guards. Omsbr V.N. Lazarev, park them. Kirov was taken "with losses. With the loss of a tank and an infantry fighting vehicle. The spirits even dug trenches there, which was not typical for them in the city. We didn't even think it would happen. and we had one truncated company of reconnaissance. Yes, and there are no spirits there, they approached, and they were already drawn, it was about the same with the park. Plus, a Russian sniper man was sitting on the roof of a high-rise building. There were also losses from him. "16

Capture of the STI building complex

On the night of January 5-6, units of the 45th OrpSpN of the Airborne Forces captured one of the GNI corps ("candle"), which was a turning point in the first stage of hostilities.

In the liberation of the rest of the corps, presumably, two SSBs of the 74th Guards participated. omsbr.17

Commander of MV 74 Guards. Omsbr Lieutenant Oleg Yuryevich Tsokov: “The building of the Oil Institute had the feeling that it was the 41st year. Terrible pictures ... Many lost their nerves then, but you shouldn’t blame anyone for this. Going under fire is ... life after all, it can break off at any second. But a little time passed, and I was very surprised at how quickly a person gets used to danger and perceives it as something familiar, for granted.<...>At first he was afraid that they would cripple him. That will tear off an arm or a leg. Before my eyes, there were many such cases. It is difficult for a person to live later... Especially here, in Russia. And then I stopped being afraid of that. I got used to everything, and there was only one desire - to complete the task.

From the explanatory private 74 guards. Omsbr Goncharenko: "On January 9, 1995, our battalion held the defense of the institute. We were at the post with Belous. At that time, a battle was going on at the position of the battalion. "18 On the same day, a private of the 74th Guards died. omsb Dmitry Ivanovich Litvinov.19

"From 8:00 on January 10, he introduces a 48-hour moratorium on the conduct of hostilities for the removal of the wounded and the dead from the combat zone"20, and the 74th Guards. The OMSB held the State Tax Inspection until January 12.

The assault on the Council of Ministers, the Kavkaz hotel and further actions

Around 5:00 on January 13, the 98th Airborne Division launched an assault on the Council of Ministers. The actions of the paratroopers were covered by an armored group of three T-72BM TB 74 Omsbr under the leadership of the commander of the tr. Lieutenant Igor Akhpashev21. From the story of Lieutenant Alexander Gavrilyuk: “Two floors of the building were taken quickly, but on the third a firefight ensued. We controlled the movement, shooting through the bridge that connected the building with the city. Weapons and ammunition were transferred to the Chechens through this bridge.”22

7:30. Units of the 74th Motorized Rifle Brigade entered the Council of Ministers and began cleaning the buildings.<...>
8:50. Commander of the 8th Army Corps (Rokhlin) to the commander of the 74th Motorized Rifle Brigade: "A neighbor's tank was knocked out, two of them had 4 shells each. Send him three tanks to replace him."23

According to Lieutenant TB 74 Guards. Omsbr Alexander Gavrilyuk: "Pavel Nemtsov's tank caught fire first. Then there were hits on Igor Subbota's cars and mine. Two tanks came to our aid."

From the description of the battle: “And on that last January day in his life, when fierce battles were going on in Grozny, he commanded one of the three reconnaissance groups moving in the direction of the Kavkaz hotel. Bogatyrenko then ran into a "spiritual" ambush. They went into battle. The commander did not hide behind the backs of his subordinates; therefore, he took fire on himself. The senior lieutenant, who received a severe wound in the head, was carried out from under enemy fire to the reconnaissance base by Sergeant Kozyrsky, privates Golubtsov , Zimin and Teterin. Without delay, Igor was sent to a hospital near the Severny airport. It did not help: the wound turned out to be fatal. "24

On January 23, a group of doctors led by Lieutenant Yuri Vyacheslavovich Zonov got lost and died.26

The location of the 74th Separate Guards Zvenigorod-Berlin Order of Suvorov, 2nd degree motorized rifle brigade, or military unit 21005, is the city of Yurga, Kemerovo Region. The unit is part of the 41st separate army of the Central Military District.

Story

The beginning of the formation of the 74th motorized rifle brigade can be considered the 94th rifle division, created in April 1943. Then it included marines, who participated in the battles near Stalingrad, fighters of the 12th and 96th naval rifle brigades. The unit took the first battle on the Kursk Bulge in 1943, and literally a few months later already liberated Kharkov and Belgorod.
During the Second World War, the 94th division participated in the battles for Chisinau, for many Polish cities, and also stormed Berlin. For the heroism shown in the battle for the village of Zvenigorodka, the formation was called "Zvenigorodskaya". The Order of Suvorov, 2nd class, was awarded to the unit for crossing the Dniester in 1944. The second name - "Berlin" division was assigned for the assault on the capital of Germany and the breakthrough of the enemy's defenses on the Odra.

Rewarding the 74th Motorized Rifle Brigade with the Order of Kutuzov

From 1945 to 1992, the location of the then 94th rifle division was Germany. In 1993, the unit's troops were withdrawn from the Western Group of Forces and transferred to Kemerovo region. In 1993, the unit was reorganized into the 74th motorized rifle brigade, which was joined by the 386th tank regiment and the 85th motorized rifle division.
From the autumn of 1999 to the spring of 2001, the officers and soldiers of the formation were involved in the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus, including the storming of Grozny.
To date, military unit 21005 is the only formation in the Central Military District that has undergone a complete rearmament. The unit received the latest combat vehicles and military weapons, and the officers and soldiers underwent a retraining course for military personnel.
Currently, the formation consists of motorized rifle and tank battalions, artillery divisions and several support companies.

part day celebrations

eyewitness impressions

Those who served in military unit 21005 note that both contract servicemen and urgent draft servicemen live in block-type dormitories in the cabins. Rooms-kubricks are designed for 5-6 people, there are 2 of them in one block. A bathroom, a dryer, a shower room - one per block.
There is no canteen on the territory of the hostel, it is located in a separate building. Civilians are involved in cooking, the soldiers do not have kitchen outfits. However, they perform park and maintenance work, exactly as they clean the blocks in the hostel.
In addition to the canteen, fighters can eat at the teahouse or make purchases at the local "chipka" at the unit. Other infrastructure facilities in the garrison include the House of Culture, a library and a first-aid post.

Block room-kubrick

The training program includes classes in military affairs, physical training and field shooting. The latter, which is typical, are carried out quite often, since a training ground is located at military unit 21005.
Dismissals for soldiers are allowed on a first-come, first-served basis, but only after the oath, which takes place on Saturday. Relatives who are going to attend this event are advised to bring warm clothes with them. The data of the fighter and the oath table can be viewed in the lists at the checkpoint. Another point about layoffs that eyewitnesses mention is the possibility of a vacation of up to 14 days, which is provided only for family reasons. During the rest of the service, meetings with relatives are possible at the checkpoint in the visiting room, from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 18.00.

Calls to relatives are allowed in the evenings, from 18.00 to 21.00, but it is better not to give a SIM card to a soldier, but to purchase it on the spot before the oath along with the phone, because. before the oath, contact with relatives is prohibited.
