The collection contains: photocopies of documents for 1516-1796 obtained from the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts; materials donated to the archive by former residents of East Prussia; German archival materials for 1854-1944. on the water management of East Prussia, received from the institute "Zapgiprovodkhoz".

Replenishment of materials occurs as the annual accumulation.

The photo archive shows historical views of the province of East Prussia. They will be supplemented with up-to-date images relating to the time when the German population lived here. The content of the archive is constantly expanding. The aim of this project is to show the most comprehensive picture of life in East Prussia by means of photography.

The photographic documents presented in the archive are enhanced by a detailed cartographic system on a scale of 1:25,000 with numerous plans. settlements. Unified classification combined with text information, helps targeted search.

Another important aspect is the exchange platform. We are glad to have a live exchange of information. To this end, for each image you will find in the menu "Contact/order an image" an indication of the source and a contact address.
