Parotya looked at the portrait and was amazed: this is the spitting image of Tanya, only in a foreign dress. This portrait Parotya showed the young master and told him about the malachite box.
The master bought the casket, then summoned Tanya to him. She immediately recognized in him that white-haired one who was spinning near the green-eyed one, and the master lost his peace, even offered to marry him.
