The dark side of Anduin. Stages of growing up anduin rynn. Sundering: Prelude to Cataclysm

However, the real power in those days was wielded by Lord Bolvar Fordragon and Lady Katrana Prestor, the royal advisors. The disappearance of King Varian was kept secret, and his return (an impostor, it turned out) was met with a certain amount of skepticism.

Unlike his father, known for his determination and bluntness, Anduin is a calm and inquisitive diplomat, as well as an ardent follower of the Church of the Sacred Light. Like Jaina Proudmoore before the fall of Theramore, Anduin is trying to find a peaceful way to end the conflict between the Alliance and the Horde. During his travels, Anduin made many powerful friends outside of the Alliance, including Bane. Bloodhoof, the August Celestials, and Wrathion.

Description from the official site

The young prince Anduin bears a heavy burden, but his destiny is not military strategies, but the preservation of a fragile world.

Anduin Llane Wrynn, son of Tiffin and Varian Wrynn, is heir to the throne of Stormwind. Years ago, when his father disappeared, young Anduin was crowned ruler of Stormwind. As a child, he could not govern on his own, and so the illustrious paladin of the Alliance, Highlord Bolvar Fordragon, became his regent. When King Varian returned to the throne, the prince devoted himself to spiritual development and diplomacy. He traveled throughout Azeroth, hoping to learn how to cleanse the land and souls from the filth of war. Anduin's wisdom and compassion stood in stark contrast to his father's belligerence, and allowed the prince to get close to the draenei prophet Velen and even some members of the Horde.

When the world learned of the existence of Pandaria, the prince personally led the Alliance expedition to uncover the ancient secrets of this continent and prevent the flames of war from sweeping this outlandish land. Anduin's wisdom and sense of justice may be the last thing keeping the Horde and Alliance from monstrous disaster.

Boy King

Anduin in the Trading Card Game.

Some time after the Second War, King Varian Wrynn married a young, beautiful woman named Tiffin Ellerian in a prearranged marriage and the conception of a son, Anduin, named after Lothar. When Arthas visited Stormwind, he also visited the newly born Anduin. The boy grabbed his finger.

From the WoW manual

"King Anduin is a wise ruler for his age. Recently, his father, King Varian Wrynn, went missing under suspicious circumstances en route to Theramore Isle. At the request of the royal adviser, Lady Prestor, young Anduin was crowned, so that order was The Kingdom of Stormwind. However, few citizens are aware that their real king has been missing for a long time. Anduin did his best to allay their fears. It is widely believed that the boy will one day grow up to be a shrewd leader."

Return of the King

Prince Anduin Wrynn

The time has come when a great ceremony was held in Stormwind to celebrate the return of the king. But Varian, who returned to the throne, was arrogant, frivolous, and enamored with Katrana Prestor. The citizens of Stormwind were informed that the king had been bought back from the Defias, and a new tax was being introduced to supplement the execution. Varian, however, was not at all interested state affairs and continued to squander the kingdom's money. Anduin was saddened by how his father had changed.

A few days later, King Magni Bronzebeard arrived in Stormwind and decided to discuss with Varian and Bolvar a military campaign against the Dark Iron dwarves and orcs. On the advice of Lady Prestor, Varian refused to send troops to help the Ironforge dwarves. Magni was frustrated with how easily Varian agreed to do Katrana's will and his dishonest behavior. On the way to the Underground Train, Magni met with Anduin, who told the dwarven king that something strange was happening to his father.

Anduin soon decided to practice shooting with his father and asked Varian how he was kidnapped by the Defias Defias. He began to ask how Varian later came to the naga, and his father told him that he did not remember any details of his past before his rescue. The king decided to reward his son for his success in shooting, and as a reward, Anduin asked that the investigation into the kidnapping continue.

Later, Anduin went for a walk in the countryside beyond Stormwind with Varian, Bolvar, and Katrana. Anduin begged his father to pay attention to the problems of the kingdom. But before the young prince could convince him, his horse suddenly bucked. He lost control and almost fell off the ledge, but Varian managed to catch him. Anduin, embracing his father, cast aside all doubts about him. The king began to talk about how, when touching his son, he remembered part of his past, but Lady Prestor touched him and told how she was struck by his nobility. Bolvar noticed that Varian had grown too close to Katrana and had lost honor and respect for others. He wanted to understand all the secrets that shrouded the kidnapping and return of the king.

One day, the second Varian, surrounded by new friends, passed through the gates of Stormwind. Katrana hurriedly gathered the soldiers, but the king told her that she had no right to lead them. Having fled to the fortress, the second Varian, now known as Lo "Gosh, announced that the masquerade was over and called Lady Prestor by her real name - Onyxia.

End of Curse

Anduin is captured by Onyxia.

Onyxia took the form of a dragon and turned several guards into dragonoids, after which Lo "Gosh and his companions entered the battle. The arrival of Bolvar Fordragon and Anduin Wrynn helped them in holding back the dragons, but Onyxia soon killed Reginald Windsor. Lo" Gosh shouted to his double that he threatens the stability of the kingdom, and because of him the Alliance almost lost the bridge of Tandol. The doppelgänger replied that he was only now beginning to resist Onyxia's magic and regained control of his actions. Anduin, surprised by the presence of the two fathers, urged them to stop arguing and fight against Onyxia. She grabbed Anduin and teleported to her lair with him. Saddened by the loss of his son, Lo "Gosh announced to his friends and allies that the last battle would take place in Onyxia's Lair.

Once in the lair, Anduin managed to untangle the ropes with which he was bound and elude the guards. He hid in a small crevice where the dragons could not reach him. As the two Varians entered the cave at the head of a band of warriors, Onyxia grabbed and flew up. She threatened to kill the hostage if Varian didn't hand over Stormwind to her. Anduin shouted that his father did not succumb to threats, and Lo "Gosh agreed to fight and die with his son, if necessary. He threw a dagger at Onyxia's claw, and she could not hold Anduin. He began to fall from a great height, but Broll Bearpelt took on the form of a raven and intercepted him in the air.Now that Anduin was safe, Stormwind's army entered the fray.

After a long battle in which fighters from both sides suffered, Onyxia began to weave a spell that would kill Varian. However, both Varians were about to sacrifice themselves, and the two-targeted spell broke and the two Varians merged into one. Onyxia, in desperation, tried to incinerate her enemy with fire, but Varian quickly reached her and impaled her on his sword. After Onyxia's death, Varian was reunited with his son and friends, promising that each of them would be rewarded for their noble deeds, and Stormwind could be reborn with renewed hope for the future.

Meeting in Theramore

Varian did visit Theramore, and Jaina Proudmoore persuaded him to meet with Warchief Thrall to discuss easing tensions between the Alliance and the Horde. However, Varian still remembered how the orcs destroyed Stormwind during the First War, and did not trust them enough to become allies. It also suited him that Stormwind and the Horde were no longer in a state of open Horde, and the king was reluctant to declare a truce. However, he still attended the meeting, because Anduin and Valeera stated that an alliance between humans and orcs could lead to the prosperity of the kingdom.

Scourge Invasion

After the awakening of the Lich King, the Scourge attacked Stormwind, and Varian and Bolvar came to the defense of the city. At first, Varian wanted to send his son to a safe place, but a moment later, the ghoul attacked him from behind, and Anduin threw a dagger at him, which saved his father from death. Later, Bolvar ordered Anduin to climb to the top of the tower and shoot the undead with his bow. The defenders of Stormwind were victorious, and Varian announced that the Alliance force, led by Bolvar, had gone to Northrend. Anduin was saddened by the parting with Bolvar and coming war. His father reassured him, saying that after the death of the Lich King, a long-awaited peace would come.

Wrath of the Lich King

A few weeks after the defeat of Arthas Menethil, the war against the Nightmare began, and Anduin became one of his victims. He couldn't wake up and was forced to face his worst nightmares.

Sundering: Prelude to Cataclysm

cataclysm

Anduin in Cataclysm.

When Varian was assembling a fleet to attack the Twilight Highlands, there were delays in the construction of the ships. He sent his son to the docks to inspire workers to labor exploits and remind them that they are doing this for a brighter future. Anduin was accompanied by an Alliance hero, and together they visited the fleet and helped gather the lost parts that caused the commotion. Guard Major Samuelson also ordered the workers to be interrogated about what they know about the Twilight's Hammer cult, whose members have stirred up the entire city.

Meanwhile, Anduin remembered that recently a farmer complained that his cows were disappearing. Although Varian promised to investigate, the guards didn't have time. After the docks, Anduin went to this farm, located north of the city. The farmer said that the kidnappers left a trail of cow entrails, but he himself was afraid to follow it. Anduin, accompanied by a hero, bravely follows the trail and finds an ominous altar, on which rituals are apparently being performed. The prince is attacked by the Twilight's Hammer cultists, but the hero manages to protect him. At the altar, Anduin finds a medallion that depicts a crossed ax and hammer. He decides to find out what this symbol means.

Soon, a shipment of explosives disappears from the port, and it seems to Anduin that Samuelson is deliberately trying to slow down the progress of the investigation. He assumed that the major knew something about the Twilight's Hammer and did not want to share glory with anyone. The prince went to SI:7 headquarters and studied the major's file. However, the dossier does not contain any information about the cult, which Anduin finds suspicious. He also found full list stolen explosives and a pendant with a similar symbol. The prince instructs the hero to continue the investigation and learn the details from Matthias Shaw, while he himself returns to the fortress to find Samuelson.

Soon, the hero finds evidence confirming that the major serves the Twilight's Hammer cult, and, entering the fortress, exposes him. Samuelson confirms that this is true and throws himself at the king with a dagger in his hand. Anduin manages to protect his father with a shield spell and saves him. Varian attacks him with his sword, Shalameyn, but the major rebounds and summons twilight energy. This turns him into a Faceless One, and the guards barely manage to defeat the servant of the Old Gods.

Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War

Anduin in Pandaria.

Anduin set sail on a royal ship called the Vanguard, and they were attacked by the Horde's southern fleet. During naval battle Admiral Taylor sent the prince to the hold, where he felt uneasy and could not help the wounded soldiers. The flagship ran aground near a mysterious land shrouded in dense fog - Pandaria. The Alliance heroes who arrived in the Jade Forest were sent to find the White Pawn, a codename given to Anduin for the sake of secrecy. As soon as the water began to fill the hold, the prince left the ship and went ashore.

When the hozen began to pursue him, a pandaren named Ren Whitepaw rescued the prince. The Alliance learned of Anduin's whereabouts through a vision bestowed by a special pandaren brew. After support arrived, Anduin helped Ren deal with his fever and began searching for more information about the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. SI:7 special agents were supposed to bring the prince back home, but he refused, wanting to see the sacred waters of the vale and learn their healing powers. He used Light spells to free himself from custody.

However, Anduin was soon captured by a Horde vanguard and taken to Grukin Hill, where General Nazgrim immediately recognized him. Luckily, he managed to elude his captors during the battle at the Serpent's Heart. He joined a family of merchants who were traveling west into the Krasarang Wilds. Arriving at Zhu's Watch, he met Mei Barrel Bottom.

Mei told him about the Order of the Crane Wing, and Anduin, heeding her advice, went to the Temple of the Red Crane and asked to see Chi-Ji. Together with the monks, he studied with the Red Crane, but this did not last long - the Sha of Despair attacked the temple. Anduin managed to escape to the Cranewing Sanctuary and, finding help among the Alliance and Horde adventurers, returned to the temple to free him from the Sha of Despair and his spawn.

In the future, Anduin reached the Temple of the White Tiger located in Kun-Lai Summit, where the Alliance and Horde were proving to Xuen, the Temple's Celestial, that they were worthy to enter the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Sunwalker Dezco, who also arrived here, was impressed by Anduin and said he could see why his leader, Baine, treated the prince with such reverence. Anduin and Dezco were present at the gate when Xuen and the rest of the Celestials opened a passage to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Along with other members of the Alliance, Anduin traveled to the Sanctuary of the Seven Stars.

Over time, the mogu, having accumulated enough strength, attacked the Golden Lotus and other defenders of the vale. Anduin was among the Lotus warriors and called upon the energy of Light to prevent the Mog from entering the Mogu'shan Palace.

disembarkation

After setting up Lion's Camp on the shores of the Krasarang Wilds, Anduin was reunited with his father. He tried to convince Varian that the war would poison the lands of Pandaria, but the king replied that he would fight the Horde not out of hatred, but in the name of love. Varian asked his son to trust him and provide support. Anduin and Varian decided to work together to protect Pandaria. When word reached them that Tyrande Whisperwind and the elven rangers had stumbled upon a horde force at the Temple of the Red Crane, Anduin told his father that the temple, which was just recovering from Sha's influence, should not be allowed to fight. Varian sensed that Garrosh was trying to take the Alliance away from the shore, and tried to sort out the situation with a small band of Alliance heroes. Anduin completely trusted his father to solve problems.

Later, Varian sent Anduin to Jaina to discuss with her the expulsion of the blood elves from Dalaran, as the Sunreavers serve the Horde and pose a serious threat during the military campaign. Jaina refused, stating that she wanted to remain neutral in Dalaran. Despite her hatred of Garrosh, Dalaran could influence the peace in the future. Inside the mage city, the Alliance and Horde could show themselves to be able to cooperate and trust each other.

At the Shrine of the Seven Stars, Anduin learned that the League of Explorers had returned from an expedition to Mogujia and had brought a sample of Sha with them for study. This specimen managed to break free and corrupt several of the Alliance soldiers in the shrine. Anduin, along with heroes not affected by corruption, cleanses the soldiers of corruption. Soon, the leaders of the peoples of the Alliance met in council to discuss the pros and cons of using Sha energy to their advantage.

Anduin and Saranya Skyglaive, a night elf druid, traveled to the Corun Ruins, where they discovered the Divine Bell and transported it to Darnassus. The Horde managed to steal the artifact with the help of the Sunreavers, and Jaina Proudmoore, overcome with malice, drove the blood elves from Dalaran. Afterwards, Anduin was present during a conversation between Jaina and Varian, where she revealed that the Kirin Tor had sided with the Alliance. However, after her act, it was out of the question for the blood elves to join the Alliance, although appropriate negotiations were planned.

Upon learning that the Horde had acquired the Divine Bell, Anduin immediately set about searching for something that could withstand its power. He learned of the existence of the Hammer of Harmony, whose last known owner was the Monkey King. The ruler of the hozen resides in the Tomb of the Conquerors, where long ago he and the mogu that attacked him were frozen in jade. According to legend, the Monkey King and the Jade Commander fought, and during the duel, they both turned into jade statues. Anduin cast a spell to free the hozen from the jade's captivity, but the Jade Warlord was also freed. After the battle with the commander, the Monkey King promised to solve three riddles to reveal the location of the Hammer of Harmony, an ancient artifact that the pandaren used in the distant past to counter the Divine Bell of the Mogu. When the riddles were solved, the hozen revealed that the hammer had been divided into several pieces, which were hidden in the far corners of Pandaria. Anduin went looking for it and eventually combined the artifact.

The Alliance soon learned that Horde troops had been sighted at the Emperor's Wing, and everyone expected Garrosh to finally test the power of the Divine Bell. Knowing that time was running out, Anduin took the Hammer of Harmony and went there alone to stop the leader of the Horde. In the Emperor's Wing, he witnessed how Garrosh hit the Bell, and this turned many Kor'kron warriors into Sha. Anduin intervened and tried to convince the orc not to use the mogu artifact. But Garrosh did not listen to him and appealed to his troops, demanding that they absorbed the energy of the Bell and learned to control it, but they all just turned into Sha.

Anduin uses the Hammer of Harmony and turns the chaos summoned by the Divine Bell into clean energy creation that stuns Garrosh. But the leader of the Horde managed to recover, and he hit the now useless Bell with force, destroying it. The fragments of the artifact fell on the young prince and broke his bones. Garrosh thought Anduin was dead and left the Emperor's Wing, but life still throbbed in the prince's body. He was taken to Lion's Landing, where Jaina and Varian furiously promised that Garrosh would pay for it. Although the king sent a messenger for Velen, Anduin was healed by Pandaren Mistweavers.

Awakening of the Thunder King

A conversation between Wrathion and Anduin.

The monks healed Anduin, but he had several weeks to recover from his injuries. Despite his father's objections, he decided to continue the journey in order to communicate with new people. He made his way to the Veiled Stairs and stopped at the Inn in the Mists, where he was guarded by Alliance guards and Sunwalker Dezco. There he met Wrathion and spent much time with him playing Pandaren board game and talking. They discussed Lei Shen, the Thunder Lord, and his reign, but did not find common language in the question of whether he should be respected for what a cruel tyrant he was. Anduin disapproved of cruelty and ruthlessness, and Wrathion called him too soft. Although the prince understands that he should not trust the mysterious black dragon, he is interested in him.

When Wrathion gave the Crown of Heaven to the hero on his errand, Anduin warned him to think twice before using the stone. When the hero returned with the heart of the Lord of Thunder, Anduin immediately felt a chill inside him. Wrathion took the heart and ate it, causing the prince to wince in disgust. Later, Anduin says that he does not believe the visions that Wrathion saw, and he replies that not believing him is a wise decision.

timeless island

When the Timeless Isle appeared off the eastern coast of Pandaria, Anduin went there with two bodyguards. He was spotted near the Celestial Tournament Ground, where he was talking to Kairoz, Lorewalker Cho, and Wrathion. Anduin noticed that time stood still on this island, and asked what could be the reason for this. Kairoz replied that he was trying to find an answer to this question.

Siege of Orgrimmar

Along with the other leaders of the Alliance, Anduin attended the council that formed immediately after the defeat of Garrosh Hellscream. When Varian turned to the Alliance leaders, Jaina Proudmoore advised him to destroy the Horde. Varian ordered his warriors to head towards the Horde with him, and Anduin indignantly asked what he was going to do. Varian replied that he would do what a king must do. The prince witnessed how his father negotiated a truce.

I think my father did the right thing. If we tried to take Orgrimmar, the fighting would never end. And what about the rest of the Horde? Shall we set up camps for prisoners of war? We've done this before - it doesn't work! We have toppled the warmonger and replaced him with a leader we can work with. This is our only chance to achieve peace in the future.

War crimes

Son of the Wolf

In seclusion, the new king reread the letter from his father and pondered his duties. As a child, he did not dream of such a reign at all, and now he had to send his subjects to a mortal battle with demons. He was interrupted by a soldier who creaked open the door and announced good news from the Broken Isles. The soldier declared that the war was over, and when Anduin was surprised, he explained that the war was over for him alone. Fel energy flashed in the soldier's eyes, and he charged at the king with a dagger in his hand. Anduin used the power that the Light granted him to weave magic into the Nathrezim, who had taken the form of a soldier. When other guards ran to the noise, Anduin said that everything was fine with him, and asked to inspect the castle in search of the demon's accomplices. Although Captain Rivers did not want to leave the king alone with the Nathrezim, Anduin demanded that he be allowed to speak with the demon in private.

He tried to find out what the lords of the Legion were trying to achieve by killing the young king. Anduin was sure that the Alliance would not fall due to the death of another leader or even several. The Nathrezim replied that the Alliance no longer exists after the death of the wolf. When Anduin self-confidently stated that the Legion had no idea what the Alliance was capable of, the Natrezim replied with a smirk that the demons knew everything, including that the new king was never a wolf, unlike the old one. The demons watched as Varian tried to raise a mighty warrior, but only got a fool who dreams of peace.

Nathrezim suggested that Anduin abandon the war, which would lead to collapse, and join the Burning Legion. The citizens of Stormwind could well serve the purposes of the demons. Anduin agreed that he was a peaceful man and that the wolf left the Alliance forever. He called himself the light left after the death of his father, and destroyed the demon with a stream of Light magic. The body of the Nathrezim broke into shimmering pieces.

Son of the Wolf (deep future)

Many years later, Anduin Wrynn, now an old man, once again reread Varian's letter written before the Battle of the Broken Shore. He told his long-dead father that he was ready for last fight. Everything was supposed to end today. Anduin was on the throne in the Exodar, spaceship draenei, and the prophet Velen, who was standing nearby, informed him that the time had come. According to the prophet, they had no better opportunity to strike. They got the only chance, and Anduin would be ready to use it in the name of the fallen father and all those who gave their lives for the sake of the future world. Velen replied that today the Light would overcome the Darkness. Anduin announced the start of the battle.

The darkness in question could be the creatures of the Void Lords, or they themselves, who are no less of a threat than the Burning Legion.

Personality

Although only a teenager, Stormwind's prince, Anduin, has persevered through numerous trials and tribulations, such as being kidnapped by the scheming black dragon Onyxia. His greatest challenge, however, might lie in his relationship with Varian. Anduin is no stranger to his father "s love and affection, but he is constantly wary of sudden outbursts from Varian" s violent, gladiatorial side. Anduin has also struggled against his father "s insistence that he become a warrior. Events just prior to the Cataclysm signaled a new chapter in Anduin's life. While undergoing martial training in the dwarven bastion of Ironforge, Anduin witnessed as Moira Thaurissan-the estranged daughter of the late King Magni Bronzebeard-held the city hostage with a contingent of Dark Iron dwarves.Despite being the legal heir to Ironforge, she drew the ire of Varian for her heavy-handed tactics. Before long, the king and a team of SI:7 agents infiltrated the city, intent on killing the brash dwarf heiress . Only through Anduin's wise and resolute intervention did Varian stay his hand and spare Moira's life, thus averting a political disaster that might have ignited a dwarven civil war.

During his time in Ironforge, Anduin also discovered his true calling in life: to be a priest devoted to the tenets of the Holy Light. For those who know Anduin well, this discipline is a perfect fit for the prince, who has consistently proven himself to be compassionate and thoughtful. No longer the child-prince of Stormwind from years past, Anduin is fast becoming his own man with the courage to speak up for what he believes in. He does not share Varian's outright hatred and mistrust of the Horde. On one occasion, he even imparted sage advice to the tauren chieftain Baine Bloodhoof after the death of his father, Cairne. Yet in Azeroth's current state of turmoil, it is unknown whether Anduin's destiny with the Light will proceed on its current course, or whether his path will take a different turn.

Story

Anduin Wrynn was born after the third war. His father is Varian Wrynn. From childhood, Varian taught his son the skills of a warrior, and at the same time, showed no small paternal love. Growing up, Anduin Wrynn chose the path of a priest, which Varian did not particularly like, although he wanted his son to grow up like him - a Warrior. Anduin preferred the path of the Light, realizing that this is the right path for a true warrior of the Light, or anyone who is peculiar to him, in particular the Draenei, humans, and blood elves. Anduin Wrynn always helped his father in the fight against his anger and anger, and his father always listened to him, and he managed to overcome this in himself at times. But not always.

Mists of Pandaria

Anduin Wrynn sailed at sea, along with the Alliance fleet. Horde ships emerged from the southern misty seas and launched an attack on Alliance ships. The admiral of the ship that Anduin was on took the prince to the hold where Anduin was supposed to sit out the battle, with the understanding that he would not be able to help the wounded soldiers in the battle. The code name for the Alliance ship is " White Pawn". The Alliance fleet was defeated, but the White Pawn managed to escape, and they landed on the lands of Pandaria. The prince was met by a pandaren who helped him and kept him for some time. But Horde warriors also landed on Pandaria, and the next day, they managed to steal the prince. This detachment was commanded by General Nazgrim, in the face of the boy he recognized the prince of the Alliance. But Anduin managed to escape using the moment. So he hid among the people who were leading the caravan to the city of Pandaria. Then, an Alliance fleet sailed to Pandaria, under the command of Varian Wrynn. On Pandaria, they met Anduin. Anduin told his father about the force that sent the Alliance and Horde into a rage, killing them all. This power was called "Sha", which could not be defeated in any way. This power, wanted to use Garrosh Hellscream blinded by his madness. Anduin used the Golden Bell to stop Garrosh. With time running out and Garrosh getting closer to that power, Anduin took the hammer and rushed alone to the bell where Garrosh was. He warned Garrosh what would happen if the power of Sha was used, but Garrosh did not listen to the young prince, and then, Anduin hit the Golden Bell, thereby stunning Garrosh. Garrosh quickly regained consciousness and shattered the Golden Bell. Shards of the Golden Bell flew at Anduin, and thus broke most of his bones. Garrosh thought Anduin was dead, but Anduin miraculously survived. The pandaren helped him, healing all his wounds and fractures.

Legion

In the Legion, Anduin Wrynn inherited Shalamaine (Varian Wrynn's signature sword) from his father after his death. One afternoon, a guard showed up to Anduin, repeating that the Legion had been defeated. Under the guise of this guardian was Nathrezim, and Anduin managed to defeat him with a slight movement of his hand, thanks to the words of his father, which he remembered in those moments, and which inspired him.

Battle for Azeroth

In the Battle for Azeroth, Anduin Wrynn becomes a full-fledged king of the Alliance, and leads his troops to Lordaeron, where the Forsaken lived. It was payback for Teldrassil.
Anduin's path is on the move.

The Prince of Stormwind is known to us from the first steps in World of Warcraft, even to those who started playing on Vanilla back in 2004. A nine-year-old boy at the head of the Alliance, in whose name the regents Lady Katrana Prestor and Lord Bolvar Fordragon rule. His mother died, his father disappeared without a trace. Maybe that's why he matured so early, feeling a craving for knowledge and priestly art. Kind, peaceful Anduin Wrynn is the exact opposite of his father Varian. This becomes apparent when the king returns to Stormwind. However, over time, they taught each other a lot: that sometimes it is better to resort to diplomacy than to fight, that peace cannot be built without war. In fact, we grew up with the prince, watched the formation of his personality. Someone twisted their lips contemptuously, spitting out the word "pacifist" as an insult. Someone was sure that this boy was the future. And now the future has arrived...

You can see how the Prince of Stormwind has changed over the last 12 years. Now he has become a king, and is already more like his father:

In almost all the images, he is holding the same object in his hands. This is a relic of the Bronzebeard clan, a mace called the Dreadbreaker. It was given to Anduin by Magni Bronzebeard. See what a magnificent weapon in the hands of Variann Wrynn, and what a picker Anduin has.

We can only hope that in order to rule the Alliance and bring peace to the planet, our new king will not need more impressive weapons.

P.S. Now I can't wait to look at the grown-up Wrathion ^-^ (the unfinished slasher rejoices in my soul).

Travis Fimmel as Anduin Lothar

Ser Anduin Lothar, Lion of Azeroth(eng. Anduin Lothar) - the last descendant of Thoradin, King of Arathi, champion knight of the Kingdom of Azeroth (now known as the Kingdom of Stormwind) during the First War and Commander-in-Chief of the Alliance of Lordaeron in the Second War. Lothar was killed at the Battle of Blackrock Mountain by Orgrim Doomhammer before the Dark Portal closed, which ended the Second War.

Anduin Lothar is one of the strongest warriors of all time. King Varian Wrynn named his son, the crown prince of Stormwind, after him.

Biography

Anduin was born 51 years before the start of the First War and spent his childhood in the royal court of Stormwind as a friend of Prince Llane and Medivh. The famous trio managed to experience many adventures in the surrounding lands during their youth. Growing up, Lothar joined the Stormwind military and quickly rose to a position in the Kingsguard. He later became a knight and joined the Brotherhood of the Horse, where his career continued to rise.

First War

Second War

Since Llane was killed and Prince Varian was not yet of age, Lothar acted as Varian's regent until Stormwind was restored. Arriving at the royal court of Terenas Menethil II with Varian and Khadgar, Lothar tells his story to anyone who was willing to listen. Thanks to Anduin's words, the leaders of the human kingdoms met in council to discuss the threat of the orcs, and at this council Terenas announced the formation of the Alliance of Lordaeron.

The high elves also heard the story of Lothar and sent their forces to help the Alliance, realizing that they finally had a chance to repay the descendants of Arathi for saving Quel'Thalas in the war against the forest trolls. from the attack of the Horde and immediately supported Lothar Later, the dwarves and dwarves from Khaz Modan joined the Alliance, whose lands were invaded by the orcs.

Due to his knowledge of warfare and extensive experience in battles against the orcs, Lothar was appointed the Commander-in-Chief of the Alliance forces. Another reason for this was the fact that leaders northern peoples it would not be too comfortable to manage the military forces of neighboring states. Anduin immediately appointed Turalyon as the next commander after himself, and Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, Uther the Lightbringer and Khadgar as lieutenants.

Lothar was fifty years old by the time the orcs arrived on the shores of Lordaeron. During the Second War, he led the forces of the Alliance, demonstrating his prowess and skill in every battle. In time, the Horde retreated from Lordaeron, and Admiral Proudmoore's forces won crushing victories at sea. Lothar led an army south to liberate Khaz Modan, where he met with Muradin and Brann Bronzebeard, and Stormwind City. Seeing the squabbling that was tearing the Horde from within, Anduin gathered all the remaining troops and pushed the Horde south.

Alliance forces are ambushed near Blackrock Mountain. In a furious battle, Lothar separated from the main force of the Alliance and faced Orgrim Doomhammer, Warchief of the Horde. After a long confrontation, Anduin's sword was shattered by the blow of the Doom Hammer, and after it, the hero's skull.

“I ran, sweeping away everyone in my path - both my own and enemies, - so I tried to get to those who entered into a duel. With a terrible blow, Orgrim crushed Lothar's shield, but Lothar responded with a blow of no less force, almost breaking through his cuirass. Orgrim threw off his crumpled armor, Lothar threw away his shield."

“They grappled again, showering each other with furious blows. Both of them had already been badly hurt, but they held on steadfastly. With his fist, Orgrim threw Lord Lothar back and struck him with a crushing blow from above. Lothar tried to parry, but I was horrified to see the orc's huge hammer break Stormwind's blade and pierce our dear commander's helmet. But with the last of his strength, Lothar raised his broken blade and cut Orgrim's chest. And then the Lion of Azeroth breathed his last. The life force left his body and dispersed across the battlefield."

Memories of General Turalyon

Orgrim believed that Lothar's death would destroy hope for the Alliance forces, but the exact opposite happened. Turalyon, raising the hero's shield and broken sword, led the army in a new attack, in which the defenses of the orcs were routed. Thanks in large part to this, Khadgar, an old friend of Lothar's, was later able to destroy the Dark Portal.

Heritage

Anduin Lothar's life was cut short before he could see his homeland freed from the orcs and rebuilt. A large stone statue depicting Lothar in his final battle was built by captured orcs in the Burning Steppes. Lothar points to Blackrock Spire, calling for an attack. Lord Lothar's legacy lives on in the heart of every free citizen of Stormwind. The crown prince of Stormwind even bears his name.

Alyas's expedition, sent to Draenor and led by veterans who fought alongside the hero in the Second War, named themselves the Sons of Lothar "in honor of the greatest and most selfless man we have ever known." The Monument of Remembrance is also built in the Hold of Honor.

In memory of the Commander-in-Chief of the Alliance forces, Anduin Lothar: This is a man who was ready for anything for the sake of his king, his people and his homeland ...

Let the enemies remember our names. May our friends honor our memory. We are the Sons of Lothar.
