Moscow, June 19. There were reports in the media that a teacher at the Moscow Aviation Institute had beaten an excellent student.

The girl is a first-year student at the Faculty of Economics. In the record book, she has only fives, but the subject of "enterprise economics", which is taught by Nadezhda Chaika, has become an obstacle for an excellent record book, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports. The freshman complained that she was beaten by the teacher.

The student said that she came prepared for the exam and answered the teacher for four hours. The teacher was dissatisfied with the answer and said, according to the girl, that she would not get higher than three. Balashova, realizing that this assessment goes to the diploma, asked for a retake. The student received several more attempts, but did not reach the very end of the exam. So, a student has been trying to answer tickets since June 13th.

Anastasia Balashova decided to come to the exam with her mother and sister. The student said that the teacher chose several students, and told others that she would not take the exam and would expel them. The sister of the victim decided to film what was happening on video.

“When the teacher saw this, right in front of everyone, she began to pull her hair and take away her phone. Mom in shock began to stand up for Olya. She also got it, ”said the student.

After Anastasia Balashova started filming herself, but the teacher, seeing the phone, asked her assistant to take away the gadget from the student. According to the freshman, the assistant chased her around the institute, and she managed to hide thanks to the guard.

The first-year student and her relatives filed a complaint with the police. The girl declared her readiness to pass the exam of any commission, as she knows the subject very well.

Instead of a grade in the grade book, freshman Anastasia Balashova received scratches, abrasions and bruises on the exam. The girl claims that the teacher Nadezhda Chaika inflicted beatings on her. As evidence, she posted a video of the brawl on the Web. In a small amateur video, which was made in the corridor of the Moscow Aviation Institute, the teacher takes the mobile phone from the hands of the girl and goes into the office.

According to Anastasia Balashova, the relationship between her and Nadezhda Chaika did not work out from the beginning of the semester. The teacher constantly found fault, did not want to take the term paper, and besides, she constantly missed classes without explanation. At the exam, which was the last in the session, Chaika allegedly refused to give Balashova a well-deserved five at all. And when she came to retake - rudely put out the door. The girl told our radio station that her mother and sister were watching everything in the corridor. At that moment, when Anastasia's relatives filmed what was happening on the phone, a fight broke out.

BALASHOV: She rushed when she saw that her sister was holding a phone in her hand. She is pretty big man, and also called the assistant of the department, and now the two of them began to beat, tear out their hair, scratch. This assistant chased me to take my phone away. From the 4th floor, I rushed up all the stairs and hid at the guard at the checkpoint so that he would protect me, asked for help. Today I was told that the security guard was fired. And I can’t even defend myself, we only have these injuries left.

The freshman and her family clearly consider themselves the injured party. They removed the beatings in the emergency room and wrote a statement to the police. In the future, they plan to contact the prosecutor's office. True, there is another version of the conflict. A witness to the brawl - third-year student Ivan Godunov - claims that the student came to the retake with a fake ticket. And when Nadezhda Chaika refused to accept discipline, a support group burst into the audience - a sister and mother. In order to somehow equalize the forces, a graduate student stood up to defend the teacher.

GODUNOV: Nadezhda Chaika had scuffs and scratches on her neck, a huge scratch on her arm, she walked with a napkin. I myself saw - there was blood flowing. A graduate student came to defend Nadezhda Chaika. Mother listened to him, then gave such a good, strong slap in the face. As classmates say, the sound of this clap was heard in the whole corridor. It was personally told to me by 2 classmates who were sitting there that she changed the ticket and "burned" hard with it. I think they are unlikely to lie to me - an ordinary student.

According to the student, all the accusations against Chaika are fiction. She is indeed a demanding teacher, but she never put pressure on students and honestly assessed knowledge. Dean of the Institute of Engineering Economics and humanities they said that an investigation was being carried out into the conflict, but the leadership of the university had no claims against Chaika.

UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEE: It's all rigged, as I understand it. I can't really say for sure until they figure it out. Yes, with the teacher - everything is in order; emotionally - I can't say, of course, but my health is in order. There were no severe beatings as such, only his hands were scratched. She went to the hospital, but so far I have not met her again. The university has no complaints about it. I think she will not suffer, we will not give offense.

Nadezhda Chaika herself has not yet commented on the situation. After yesterday's incident, she was not at the institute. Student Anastasia Balashova, for her part, declares that she will no longer be able to study at the MAI. By the beginning of the autumn semester, the girl plans to transfer to another university.

As a result, she offered to put a "troika", but this assessment goes to the diploma, and Nastya asked to retake it. In general, this is a normal situation for Chaika: students say that she can put several "triples" on the whole stream, and the rest - unsuccessful. Today she came to retake the exam, but the teacher accepted her with words like “Get out!”. The sister recorded this on the phone so that there was an audio confirmation, and when the teacher saw this, she attacked her, trying to take away her mobile, - Olga, the student's sister, told MK.

The mother and another sister came to morally support the girl (she stood at the door and recorded the exam on video). When the teacher noticed them, then, according to Olga, she attacked all three women at once.

“She's a big woman, so it's not easy to fight her off. There were bruises, torn hair. For help, Chaika called her colleague in the department, also a tall man. As a result, my sister managed to hide at the guard downstairs, Olga continues.

The women called the police and an ambulance. All injuries have already been recorded in the emergency room, a statement to the police is ready. They also plan to appeal to the prosecutor's office. There is no reaction yet from the administration of the MAI - and, perhaps, it will not be necessary to wait for it: according to the victim, the dean of the faculty previously admitted that he could not influence the teacher in any way.

Meanwhile, the reviews left by MAI students on the forum confirm that Nadezhda Chaika's character is by no means sugary. However, no one had previously accused her of assault.

“He doesn’t know how to teach at all, although he knows the subject perfectly. Only he does not know how to express his thoughts in such a way that they reach the students. Starting to say the definition, he stumbles and looks very carefully into the eyes of the students (like, finish it yourself). It feeds on student hatred. Unpunctual, irritable, disregards students. Doesn't let you write. She flunked the entire group. I was 30 minutes late for the re-test, and only three people passed after small disputes about the reliability of the written information. “She constantly insists that knowledge is important to her, but she proves the opposite at the exam ... I wrote a test (28 theoretical questions and two tasks), wrote 29 out of 30, but I didn’t solve one of the two tasks. Received "3". In my opinion, she is just an unsatisfied woman. The grading is not fair. In addition, it was not allowed to retake. She is completely unfair, and do not expect her to rate you according to your level of knowledge.

At the same time, students admit that she knows her subject (which, however, is not at all a basis for assault).

In the public relations service of the Moscow Aviation Institute, where the MK correspondents turned for clarification, they commented on the situation to us. In their opinion, not only the student and her mother were physically injured, but also the teacher herself:

“On June 19, 2018, an incident occurred between a student and a teacher from one of the university departments who took the exam, in which the student’s relatives also participated. The situation is under the control of law enforcement agencies and the administration of the university. The injured teacher went to the nearest emergency room, where she received medical assistance.”
